I dont know why, but all XOOPS themes which I seen/tried are ugly. No offence to the makers, but they ARE ugly. That's the only thing that stops me using Xoops, which is for me the best CMS if we count out the themes.

So i have 2 questions:
1. where i can find some NICE themes for Xoops?
2. Why u can't see pics of 70% of themes on the Themes library, just a white pic with black border.

1. Go through the THemes in the news section, you will find a few free ones and links to a couple of paid themes sites.

2. Most images were lost from hack attacks quite a while back.

I like MontisBlack and Fiblue and Fiblack themes.

Motisblack would have only suit my needs if I could edit the left and right columns so they arent blue and red. I tred finding the hex value in the style.css and maybe sarch for that slice in the image folder, but no clue - im not able to find it.

are you looking for just FREE themes or paid themes as well?

for what i see.. usually paid themes from any theme designer (including me) are way better quality

I know they are. Infact, if I would know PHP and implement my design from Photoshop - I would make money the same way.

Im just interested (when every theme suck), how can I change the montisblack theme so it doesnt have that blue and red bars?

Yeah, don't you just love it when people complain about the quality of themes but can't design/create them themselves?

Well, looking at the theme, the title bars are actually a graphic, which I noticed as it has a gradient to it. If you look in the theme's image folder, you will see which image(s) you can edit to change this.

For example:
line 253 in style.css specifies the image used for the block titles. This theme uses images for a lot of the backgrounds, while others use simply colors.
