MyAlbum-p to ??? conversion script

Hello!

I was looking around the forums via search to find out if there is a converstion/import tool to migrate myAlbum-p to any other Gallery module such as XcGal or extGallery

I asked about this conversion tool at zoullou.net bu the script hasn't been created yet and no forecasts are given due to the author have many things to do (I understand this is not easy)

But I'd like to use a Gallery module such as xcgal that I like pretty much and use it for a while to import some thousands os pictures because recreating them from the scratch would be totally out of question.

Mx-Directory 3 RC1 Blank page under xoops 2.016

Hello!

as the title says I want to install Mx-Directory 3 RC1 under XOOPS 2.016 but I get a blank page when I click on install...

I don't get any errors shown with any of the debugs on...

I made a search here at xoops.org and I got to topic where tripmon mentions a fix for a while ago...

Was this fix released or has anyone found the solution to this problem?

sure...

around line 48 from the marquee module is this reference

$block['marqueecode'] = $marquee->constructmarquee($uniqid);


I just commented it out to get the site running again...
when I really need the module I'll try to fix it...


but back to news... any ideas why I can't get to the preferences? the weird thing is that I don't get any errors shown

well...

I reuploaded files and things kept the same... this was strange... but after getting in touch with the provider he send me the log description for the server...

there was a fatal error regarding Marquee 2.41...
now I just edited one of the marquee files and the site got back online...

not sure now if its an incompatibility issue of XOOPS 2.016 or with news 1.5...

thanks for all for trying to help...

this issue is solved so far

but I still can't access to the preferences for the news module

@hervet...

I have already done that before posting... I've tested all possibile debug options... and even doing that I can't get any error messages shown... Now I can't even access the site at all...

I've already done over 30 XOOPS sites and the basic steps for debugging are clear for me...

any other suggestions?

yes... in fact this is an obvious issue...

I followed all the information explained in the upgrade.txt file included...

yes... I defined all the permissions...

and I forgot to mention... when I try to edit the preferences I get a blank page too...
