I'm far from expert, but what I usually end up doing when I have menu issues like that is create a new menu using mutimenu or something along those lines and simply create the exact link I want.
Then I go into the modules admin area and make that module invisible on the main menu.
Hope that helps!

I second that!
As a frequent visitor, my first thing to do on this site is to check for new modules, themes and hacks. There have been sadly very few new additions of late, probably due to a busy season.
I think that these items should be focused on heavily, as they show real growth when there are new additions every day or two. It's a great boost to old and new users alike - especially the complimentary comments that show the community spirit here.
That's not to say though, that other aspects of the site aren't just as important... there's so many things to check on while you are here that it's important not to lose sight of the fact that not everyone looks to these things first.
I remember being a new user, and found this site to be daunting at the time... lots of information, but it just seemed so... technical!
I know one of my frequent problems is that I can never tell what modules are compatible with which version of XOOPS until I actually go through the process of downloading it, uploading it, installing it...
Lookit me, getting all off topic! (my bad)
I think a spotlight on the 5-10 newest releases of each of these things on the main page would be a marvelous idea.
Just my 2 cents Canadain ...(well, $0.0171490 USD!)

I see no problems in recruiting outside help also, but the community should be informed. Maybe some of us would have also tried out for the contest.

Cheers.

Geez, ya think?
I know I'd have done it for sure.
(Seems it would be something kept within a community that understands the concept, not outsouced to someone who has no idea nad it had to be explained to them!)
Just my 2 cents.

nope - it's happening on every module. I am not seeing any problems with the installations, but I just would hate to find out down the road that something is wrong and I need to do it all over.

Every time I install a module (on the newest version of XOOPS) the installation seems to go okay, but the installation page says "no profile fields found" at the top... you know, where it lists all the files that were successfully created.
Anyone have a clue what that means?

Perhaps if you still have the proper link, you could post it on this thread so others will be able to find it easily also...?

I thank you hugely for the quick reply... I love the way it works on folsomliving.com (as does everyone else in the world) and I would love to have the categories look so nice and neat...
I am wondering if there is a way to NOT call the stylesheet for that module?
I like your site too!

I had a similar problem, and my screen looks the same - but I am having no problems setting it up... at least I don't think so...
Really - try downloading from that link and see if it helps - it is the same name and everything, same version number but this one worked for me where the one from the author's site didn't.
