Hello -
I am using xdirectory on my site Peterborough Shopper and I would like to know how to make the subcategories NOT bold so that the main category remains the focal point.
I'd LOVE to know how to make the categories list as bullets, but I'm afraid to ask too much...
Hope someone knows how to help!
Thanks in advance...
Lisa

Nice site!

I use xdirectory on one of the sites I'm developing and never thought about that question until now. I just took a look at its templates, and believe it or not, it's actually set up to have the main category in bold and the subs in normal text.

It looks like the problem is that style.css overrides that setting. So if you have your links set to be bold in your stylesheet, they'll be bold everywhere.

I'm going to try an experiment with some span tags and see what happens. Let you know the results.

I thank you hugely for the quick reply... I love the way it works on folsomliving.com (as does everyone else in the world) and I would love to have the categories look so nice and neat...
I am wondering if there is a way to NOT call the stylesheet for that module?
I like your site too!
