I've just updated to XOOPS 2.0.7 (The most recent release) and can not now edit my exisintg messages in NewBB. If I 'preview' a message or I 'edit' an existing message, the text area is blank, there's no content and if I submit that then I get an empty message.

The URL ishttp://www.lbworld.org

Can anyone take a look and help me figure this one out? I've been troubleshooting for 2 days and can't find anything.

That is making my site unusable.

Can anyone help me with this error: Notice [PHP]: Use of undefined constant num_boxes - assumed 'num_boxes' in file modules/lcas/blocks/lcas.php line 14

I'm new to XOOPS module programming, sorry if this is obvious. Here is the affected code:

Quote:

<?php

function letterbox_show($options){
global $xoopsDB;

// Pick total number of boxes listed
$count = 0;
$sql = "select * from ".$xoopsDB->prefix('box_info')."";
$result = $xoopsDB->query($sql);
while($row = $xoopsDB->fetchArray( $result)) {
$sql1 = "select num_boxes from ".$xoopsDB->prefix('box_info')." where boxid = '$row[boxid]'";
$result1 = $xoopsDB->query($sql1);
while($row1 = $xoopsDB->fetchArray( $result1)) {
$count = $count + $row1[num_boxes];
}
}

Line # 14 is this one: $count = $count + $row1[num_boxes];

The block is working just fine, it's that I get this error when PHP Debug is one and, well, being anal about things like this, even though I can 'mute' it I want to know why it's giving me that error.

Any help is greatly appericated.

It has to do with the HTTP REFERRER being masked by your firewall/security system.

For me, I've added my website to the 'safe' list in Norton Internet Security and it works beautifully now. Not sure how to do so with Zonealarm, but all you should have to do is tell it that the website in question is trusted, and it will start working again.

This is part of the security of ZOOPS, and I for one, after suffering a hack at the hands of a buggy versio of PHPNuke, wouldn't want it any other way.

What version of PHP are you running?

What OS is your server running on?

What webvserver are you running?

Is anything else not operatinbg properly or is it only the Forums?

I've got a segment of javascript code that comes from webrings.com. I need to add this code at the bottom of my page (It's where I want to put it, not where they are telling me to put it.) I can't use the banners section as the code has to show upm on each page for each ring, not randomly.

I'd like to add this to the footer.php and not have to add it on a theme by theme basis.

Can anyone tell me what needs to be done and where to put it? (Please me gentle! )

Here's the code:

Quote:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ss.webring.com/navbar?f=j;y=rayvenhaus;u=10102599"></script>
<noscript><center><table bgcolor=gray cellspacing=0 border=2 bordercolor=red>
<tr><td><table cellpadding=2 cellspacing=0 border=0><tr><td align=center>
<font face=arial size=-1>This site is a member of WebRing.
To browse visit <a href="http://ss.webring.com/navbar?f=l;y=rayvenhaus;u=10102599">
here</a>.</font></td></tr></table></td></tr></table></center></noscript>

PHPNuke Module Conversion

Is there any XOOPS knowledgable folks out there who could take a PHPNuke module (That is owned and written by me) nan convert it to run inside of XOOPS?

I've recently converted my website from PHPNuke to XOOPS and love every minute of the easability that XOOPS affords me, save one thing....

The Modules are a bit more complicated than I'm used to with PHPNuke. So, what I'd like to know is this....

I've got an existing program written in PHP and made to run inside of the PHPNuke CMS and it is working just fine. Or was when I still ran PHPNuke. NOw, I could convert this to run outside of the XOOPS website and that's doable by me, but I want it to run inside the XOOPS framework as a module. IS there anyone here that can do this and is willig to do it, under a time constraint, for a small fee?

Please write back asap to either kerjin at myndworx dot com OR tap me on MSN Messanger as kerjin at myndworx dot com.

There is a bit of urgency to this project.

Thanks!!!!
