so, is that the way the version numbering works with xoops??......odd numbers are beta and even numbers are full releases??

Hi all

I have put the news module topic select box into a block just like here at xoops.org

But unlike here at xoops.org I cannot find the way of removing the standard topic sellect box from the modules/news/index.php or am I looking in the wrong place??

The result is I now have 2 topic select boxes on my news page....if anyone knows how to remove the standard topic select box from the news page I am very interested.

thanks recupsof, and XOOPS automatically regenerates these files??......all I have to do is delete them - nothing else??

the term "2.2" is possibly refering to a future version of XOOPS in the XOOPS road map, i'm not sure, but it would appear that way and if so then no 2.2 is not yet available but will be in the near future .

hi Kasch.....

Do you have this module globaly cached?? If so you won't see any users untill the cache refreshes eg; if you have it cached for 1 minute you won't see any users untill the cache refreshes 1 minute later.....Set this module to no cache and see if that works.

Of course if you don't have this module cached then this is not your problem
