Fredski is getting blank page and not visible block at top of centre column in 800x600 resolution and that what i understand. "default" theme of XOOPS have some advantage and many disadvantages for transfering it into liquid css. <{$xoops_contents}> can be put at top and block at bottom without problem, depends on requirement..

hi Fredski:

Though I have not downloaded the TAB module yet and not even get time to check css except i only check the source file of Berkley site.

Can you please answer me this question, whether the CSS include "float:left"? and can you stretch the left and right column to 100% ? The best way to know is by putting "background-image" to left and right column and see it stretch to 100% height in compare to Center Column ?

Your issue: It seems to me in center column "clear: left" is missing.

-Shiva.

Hi:

I appreciate the time you have given for this website.

"1. either keep body 100% or within 780px but not in between. I think 100% is best due to lot of content in your site."...please clarify this....I think the body is already set to 100%, but I will check on this...

REPLY: Your main table is set to width="95%" so make it 100%. you may be using resolution less then 1024x768 resolution so it seems to you that the site is 100% but it is not.

"4. remove bacground dark color from Read More... | xxx bytes more | xx comments " I was wondering if I can make the COMMENTS part a little larger, is that possible? also, what color do you suggest for the background?

REPLY: font size is ok. i suggest no Color for background:)

NOTE: just insert this code in your themes/folder style.css file "img { border: 0;}" and this will make Ronald Reagan photo and all photo without border.

Excellent work !

I have checked it in 1024x768 res.

1. either keep body 100% or within 780px but not in between. I think 100% is best due to lot of content in your site.

2. Site looks to me Flat so there is no point keeping 3D looks navigation bar at top.

3. If possible, put top banners at bottm and keep one logo at top left.

4. remove bacground dark color from Read More... | xxx bytes more | xx comments

Thats all !

Initially we were working on Windows 2000 Professional and recently installed Apace2Triad (Apache 2). I have seen this problem in both environments. The thing is that turning Debug off doesent prevent the JS Error.

When JS Errors shows, Message area Icons like URL,Email, imgsrc, Image Manager, code, quote button stop working. Textarea stop functioning properly.

Reynaldo:

I am using v 0.4. Though I uninstalled this hack for the time being but I informed you for your knowledge and new releases. I wonder whether "XFSection" and "XDirectory" is included in your list of modules or not.

Great Work ! Keep it up !

Hi Carnuke/Reynaldo:

Thanks for the excellent work !

In my opinion, v.04 was created keeping in mind for all modules, not a throwaway features. Just think like this what will happen if few of our module/pages will show .html and other modules which were not hacked will show the standard .php urls. Even phpnuke and postnuke short urls hack created using standard modules and I can tell you, many people do not use such a hack (including me) because we are using opensource for various module contribution from developers and should not restrict to few core modules. Soon you make this hack module specific, you will start getting fload of request for user specific module short urls hack. Integrity will loose. XOOPS need to be something special then rest :)

Reynaldo, please think over it again before making a new version. Many people use module apart from few standard one line mylinks, news etc.

I run v4.0 in two of my site and run perfectly well. only thing its require little more time to make the short look really short and something meaningfull.

http://www.domain.com/m-xdirectory+index+.html
http://www.domain.com/m-news+index+.html
http://www.domain.com/modules/PP-News/index.php
http://www.domain.com/m-contact+index+.html
http://www.domain.com/search.php

I think this is the high time when module developer have to follow some convention keeping in mind short url hack by Reynaldo

Regards,
Shivaji.
