Pay Pal - Part II

Back in January there was a post regarding a pay pay module for Xoops. Was wondering if anyone has completed either a pay pal module or other payment method module that would allow for subscription sites to issue passwords/access only after receipt of fund$ without any webmaster/admin input.

I notice there is a PHPNuke pay pal module that the owner charge 49.95 for, which is somewhat of a fair price if you expect to profit from their work (if it works correctly). However, since I prefer XOOPS I am looking for alternatives.

The link for those interested. The Link look for PHPPAL.

Thanks;

Sacrifice

Well, I vant to give ALL users right to read news but only the webmaster (or anothe special group) should have the right to post news, as it is now registred users can altso post news, that i don't want.

Hope that ansvers your question.

I dont understand your intention. If you want restrict the admin rights of the news module only to webmasters, then just dont give admin rights to another group ?!

Can anyone fix this so only webmaster can post news, I want to use it in several modules...

(I'm new to php)

/*********************************************************/
/* User Authentication */
/*********************************************************/
if ($xoopsUser) {
$uid = $xoopsUser->uid();
} else {
if ($xoopsConfig['anonpost'] == 1) {
$uid = 0;
} else {
redirect_header("index.php",3,_ANONNOTALLOWED);
exit();
}
}
/************************************************************/

I think we need some kind of polls...so we can rank these hosts in some fashion.

Maybe even put up a new poll every week or so with an accumulation poll over a prolonged time period.

Just some wood for the fire

Not sure what the was about in the last post - as those ideas seem top to me.

I've been using another Nuke fork (myPHPNuke) and attempting to do the same for sometime. I've managed a partial rehash of the format of the user page and added the ability to upload a 'home' image as well as provided limited general image upload... but I have a great deal more work to do.

As it stands, I can't think why ANYONE would want to visit anyone else's user page with the current format in the various Nukes - including XOOPS.

The 'Editors Choice' seems good too - and could probably be managed quite easily. Perhaps add an extra field with either a 1 or a 0 in it. Have the 1 for Editor's Choice and then sort the list of links DESC in the SQL query for the list? Something like that.
