i can't find version 1.22 anywhere to download not even on koudanshi's site.. you don't happen to have it do you?

my site as now gone live.. and since, i can't edit users now from the admin..

accounts can't be viewed by clickin the view account link..

users can login on the site login, but when they goto the ipboard then it says they aren't logged in.. altho i can login to the admin section on ipboard.. but when i view the board it says i'm logged out..

i've installed the latest version in another folder called "main" as i was gonna rebuild and copy all the images etc to this new install, then just import the user accounts..

and even that new install has problems. being that when i goto groups and try and modify the registered group (group id 2) it says error 500: internal server error..

i'm pulling my hair out here.. could any1 from the core team please help urgently.. i'll give u a user account which has full admin access and even the ftp access if u could find out the problem.. cos i'm at a loss as to how to solve this..

try updating the downloads module in admin.. and clear ur cache folder

nope.. uploading the edituser.php didn't solve the problem :(

i'm using 2.05 and updated using the 2.05.2 patch..

also some1 just discovered they get the same error message when they try to send a PM using the ipb forum..

could it be something to do with the MySQL database?

i did import a load of users from the old ipb forum.. i did this manually and edited the field names etc. if u want a sample of the rows that are in the xoops_users table i can get them for you if u could tell me if any rows need changing..

EDIt USER PROBLEMS

i'm in admin, and on the drop down box when i mouse over the system module, when i select edit user.. I get an Error 500: internal server error..

if i click the system module so that the options appear on the page instead of using the floating menu that appears, the option for edit user does not appear..

i can edit a user if i goto the find user and then click edit once the user is found.. but when edited and submit is sent, the info is saved but it then gives me the error 500 internal server error again (presumably its redirecting back to the edit user screen..)

not a problem for editing, but because i can't get this screen I can't manually add a user..

there's a SMS module ported for E-Xoops, could anybody possibly port this module to XOOPS 2 or create 1 from scratch?

ok i fixed the problem, it wasn't a problem with the news module as such..

the problem was with a hack that was installed..

the xoopshack.zip which adds the flash and media content etc into the news module..

i installed this b4 christmas, but being as the whole server was down from the 26th till yesterday it took some figurin out as to y..

yeah, my mistake, but i just noticed when any debug mode is enabled it doesn't work.. also if MySQL debug mode is enabled etc it always says > when u change or refresh page.. no debug info appears but on the IE status bar it says "done but with errors on page" if debug mode is disabled i don't get that message..

altho the news module still doesn't work right either mode..

also! as soon as i start typing any text whatsoever into the text areas the error message appears..

News Module Problems

i can't seem to add or edit any news items..

when i'm entering text, i enter the text in the text bar as shud be, but when i click the bold, italic or any buttons including the add button, i get error on page appear in the IE status bar at bottom of page and none of the buttons will work..

also in admin/system/preferences.. the debug isn't working either.. i selected php debug mode and when i goto pages there's no popup window that appears like it used to, so no debug info is available..
