That's probably because there is a bug in the block template. There is a < /option> missing there. Which means that if you have another < option> on your page which cause links not be working.

Sorry about this, I have corrected it : multiMenu 1.5

Thanks!

But maybe you could have a go at multiMenu 1.6 (test version) as well.

I considered it, but I have extended 1.5 to 9 menus. I have actually done the same (I think) with 1.6, but it is much more complicated, and I'm not as confident in my changes (and things aren't ordered quite right). Also, I assume that I am going to have to keep making the changes with each update. This is harder with 1.6 than with 1.5, especially since 1.5 won't be changing.

Here's a thought: Since there are so many people who need more than 4 menus, why don't you just make additional menus standard? That way, there won't be hundreds of people trying, with varying degrees of success, to make the same changes. It's not terribly hard with 1.5, but 1.6 and up are horses of a different color. Say a total of 9 or 10 menus? That would be really nice! Or make the module easily clonable?

Anyway, thanks for MultiMenu as it stands. It is a great and very useful module and is much appreciated!

MultiMenu 1.5 - Drop List and Select box?

I have installed MultiMenu 1.5, and the standard menu works fine. When I change the blocks to use the Drop List or Select Box menu format, however, the links do not work. They show up, but, when you click on them, nothing happens. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

That would be "not using these at the moment..."

OK, here is the link:

http://www.dixie1.com/files/xoops_news_clones.zip

The file contains news02, news03, news04, and news05. Please be advised, though, that I am tusing these at the moment and have not tested them thoroughly. If they work okay and you find them useful, then welcome to them.

Tiagra Menu - how to use

I created a Java script menu at the Tiagra web site and then downloaded the files. I may be a little dense, but I can't figure out what to do with them. The files are:

index.html
menu.css
menu.js
menu_items.js
menu_tpl.js

Where should they go, and how do I invoke the menu?

All help greatly appreciated.

I am currently running the News and New2 clone modules at my site. I installed WF-Sections but would prefer to use another News module instead. Is there a News3 Clone around that I could install? If not is there any easy way to make one?

I think I have one somewhere. It's a clone of News 1.1. I think, in fact, that I have a News03 and 04. Let me know if you want one or both.

News 1.21 (or 1.3) - Recent News block topic select

In the topic select box for Recent News block, sub-topics are not identified as sub-topics. For example:

News
--Local
--State

would appear alphabetically as:

Local
News
State

Would it be possible, and relatively easy, to have the sub-topics identified as such and placed correctly under the parent?

News2 in Repository is a clone of latest version of News

It's a clone of version 1.1. I don't know of a clone of version 1.21.

As to the original request, why not set up, in version 1.21, the "Recent News" and "Top News" blocks to display the different content? These two blocks are essentially the same, and you can choose only certain topics for each block.

Or, install version 1.3RC1, which seems to be stable, and then do the same thing using the new "Tab" option in the same two blocks?
