MultiMenu 1.5 - Drop List and Select box?

I have installed MultiMenu 1.5, and the standard menu works fine. When I change the blocks to use the Drop List or Select Box menu format, however, the links do not work. They show up, but, when you click on them, nothing happens. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

That's probably because there is a bug in the block template. There is a < /option> missing there. Which means that if you have another < option> on your page which cause links not be working.

Sorry about this, I have corrected it : multiMenu 1.5

But maybe you could have a go at multiMenu 1.6 (test version) as well.

I considered it, but I have extended 1.5 to 9 menus. I have actually done the same (I think) with 1.6, but it is much more complicated, and I'm not as confident in my changes (and things aren't ordered quite right). Also, I assume that I am going to have to keep making the changes with each update. This is harder with 1.6 than with 1.5, especially since 1.5 won't be changing.

Here's a thought: Since there are so many people who need more than 4 menus, why don't you just make additional menus standard? That way, there won't be hundreds of people trying, with varying degrees of success, to make the same changes. It's not terribly hard with 1.5, but 1.6 and up are horses of a different color. Say a total of 9 or 10 menus? That would be really nice! Or make the module easily clonable?

Anyway, thanks for MultiMenu as it stands. It is a great and very useful module and is much appreciated!

You must be right. Personnally, I never use more than 2 menus at a time. But it's not a big deal to add more menus (at least for me )

I have started a poll on my site : How many menu for multiMenu?

Feel free to give your opinion there, please.

PS Thanks for your comment, btw.

Great idea. I might suggest, though, that you announce it somewhere--perhaps XOOPS News. I don't know how many interested people will find it via this thread. I don't know about others, but I watch XOOPS News.
