Videotube module 1.85 with Xoops 2.4 RC - Lost categories

Hello everyone,

After updating the last videotube version 1.85 and also XOOPS version for 2.4.0RC, i didn't have the categories of my video anymore. Don't know if it comes from videotube or XOOPS as i update quite in the time...

Does someone have the same result?

Thks for this information!

I just come back to France 2 days ago and so don't need this module anymore :( In case i would come back in september in Singapore, i will test the updated module this week... i will let you know ;)

Hi Ghia,

Tks for your answer. I test the file manager but it doesn't seems to work on 2.3.3

In fact this modules was posted in 2004 :(

The only module that i found and can partially use for some functiuns is "XPLORER", old also with bugs and not so complete. But it allows me to upload files on my server.

I think this kind of module is quite usefull for lot of people. I was surprised to not found more recent module about file management!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a module allowing to manage directly by the administration the uploading and downloading of XOOPS files, and also editing them. Like an explorer, editor and ftp manager.

Modules i found about it looks quite old...

Could you advice me for a recent one or do you think possible to develop one?

In fact, i really need it because i'm away from my country (france) and can not access to my free hoster ftp... (i can by controlling my parents computer, but its quite long and complicated to transfer my files on their computer and next transfer it by ftp on my server)

I think such a module could be useful for everyone ;)

I hope the ones in charge of future version will see this post!

I'm sure it would be possible to configure a default direction for this folders... When i look to my upload folder today, its quite crazy to see so much documents and with names given during upload which doesn't mean anything... so finally how to clean it?

Hello,

What do you think about placing smileys and avatars in specific folder as uploads/smileys or uploads/avatars in next version of xoops?

Why not choose in the admin part the direction of the folder for smileys and avatars...

I think it should be easy to do and would clean the uploads file...

Hi everyone,

i just tried to create a new quiz in xquiz, but it told me each time the begin date is invalid...

i tried dd/mm/yyyy and yyyy/mm/dd and with the calendar included...

i tried past date, today and future date...

No problem meet before for category creation.

Does someone meet the same problem?
Does someone translated this module in french? Otherwise i can do it (if the module works of course...)
