The link I found for this module isn't working. Where is the place to get it?

WF-Downloads - alter menu, file details, ratings

I would like to offer a streamlined page for users to upload files. There is no need for platform, price, version, etc. There is equally no purpose for ratings and reviews or votes.
What files do I have to edit to remove these data entry areas from the submission page? If I can just comment them out somehow so I can turn them back on later, that would be ideal.

Too bad modules don't have a feature like the extended profiles where we could just set the variables that we want from a menu with the easy options to make them required/show on the form.

Solved - I am officially embarrassed by my question now. It is in the module preferences page, not the module administration area where I had been searching.

Does anyone else find that posting a question here can miraculously lead to solving the problem yourself?

I have installed WF-Downloads Meta Version 3.2.002 with XOOPS 2.2.4.

I can't find a way to allow users to upload files. The only permission I can see is to view. As the admin it is possible from the "Files" tab in the module admin area.

As a registered user, I can see and download, but not submit.

What are the best modules for use with XOOPS 2.2.4?

I have a site running with version 2.2.4. I would like to improve some functions for my users and the site appearance.

In browsing the support forum and many module pages, it remains unclear to me which modules are compatible with the version I am using.

In the lingo, does this: Platform: XOOPS 2.0.13.x and + mean that it should be good with 2.2.4?

Please offer your suggestions on the best modules compatible with 2.2.4 version for:

Content management.
Photo management.
WYSIWYG editor.
Downloads submitted by my members.
Customizing menus and appearance.

Any other suggestions that improve the administrative functionality of a site using 2.2.4 are also welcome.

You can do it with a module like myAlbum if you set .pdf as a type of file that can be uploaded.

Thank you for this module. I have only ever used 2.2 as that was my introduction to XOOPS via an automatic install script on my host. It has worked without any problems and this will be a great addition.

Setting the weight of a block is like giving it a density. The more dense things sink to the bottom and the less dense ones float to the top. 0 in the blocks weight is the equivalent of saying that there is nothing pulling it down so therefore it will compete for the top location with other blocks having a weight of 0.

I just tested 10000 as a weight with no problems but can't tell you an actual limit.

There is a specific setting in the Blocks Administration area that determines if a block is visible or not. The weight does not affect the visibility.
