Hello All!

I'd like to display & offer PDF files on my site. How is this accomplished?

Thanks for your time & attention,

You can do it with a module like myAlbum if you set .pdf as a type of file that can be uploaded.

I use SmartSection for my site's content and you can attach pdf (and other) files to the articles. I'm sure that other "articles" modules allow this.

You can also attach files articles using the News module -http://xoops.instant-zero.com/

You can set up some Forum modules (e.g. CBB 3.08) to allow pdf attachments to posts.

Alternatively, you can use a "downloads" module to make files available. WF-Downloads will certainly do this and it's widely used by xoopsers.

The best module is Pico with flash loading your pdf files
That way you have full control of layout, users permissions
but also extra features like, log changes, include html forms
for feedback (stored to db and accessible from admin>Extras)
comments integration with D3 forum, votes, send to a friend, etc.

Check later, XOOPS Cube D3 Modules package, it should run smoothly
with last XOOPS release. You may find some useful samples ^^

Have Fun
I like people more than machines or money. But that's me!
Lets do something good and great: Lets do open source!
