I don't know, from which file he got the password, but it's fact, that he got it. And yes, he can change everything now in my site. Because he is my friend, he didn't hacked my site totaly, he just changed a few things here (wanted to show, that it's really simple to hack this CMS and he know all the passwords). I am able to login to my web as admin and fix all him changes, because he isn't a "black hat" and he didn't take ownership of my website.

P.S. he said, that it's needed just to "make SQL injection" for hacking everything.

How i posted message some time ago, XOOPS isn't safe CMS. First of all, one my friend (hacker) just simply copied a few files from my XOOPS webpage and he got SQL username and password. Yeah, it's so simple, because password is just plain text in PHP file. And one creator of XOOPS told me, that it's impossible to to get access to database. But this friend (hacker, how i said), told me, that it's very simple to hack any XOOPS website. He spend some time with my SQL password from PHP file and he hacked all website. Now he knows admin password, he can manage everything, and he didi it already. For example, he changed my XOOPS banners already, and it just beginning. He said me a little tip, how to fix it - it's very important to fix ALL global vars. That's it, no more info anymore he told me. so please fix it, because it's very simple to hack ANY yours XOOPS website.

P.S. Sorry for writing in this forum, i didn't seehttps://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewforum.php?forum=21 first.

Hm, i don't want to delete and install XOOPS site again for some reasons. I changed my SQL password, but the website didn't work, i got an error, that it's impossible to connect to SQL. Anybody know, how to change SQL password and keep my XOOPS site working?

Yeah, it's everything OK now, i contacted my host provider and they reinstalled PHP. But after this i know one new thing - XOOPS isn't safe CMS. Yes, i mean very unsafe. Because my website was closed just for several minutes, but people already "hacked" my SQL base, they just copied a few files from my XOOPS site and they know SQL Base password now. When they know SQL password, they can browse tables and to view all users information, such as login and password. What can i do now? These people aren't "black hats", but it took just few minutes to get all my password from XOOPS.

I am running XOOPS website and posting a lot of news there. One man runs his website on XOOPS too. We have a plan and now i need info, how to make it.

That man wants to see my news headlines on his XOOPS site. For example, when i am posting a news story, i need, that headline of this story would appear on other XOOPS website. And when visitor of other XOOPS website clicks on the headline, he must to be redirected to my website. How could we make something like this?

Thanks in advance.
