DimeReseller Hosting

Good day,

I don't know if it's allowed to promote your own services, but I didn't find any rules where it's not allowed, so I thought that some members would be interested in Crhsitmas Package :)

If you are waiting for Christmas, you should start saving your money for presents and keep your money for other things instead of paying bills for hosting, right? That's why we are proud to announce about special Christmas Package at DimeReseller, which was dedicated not just to exceed all your expectations, but also to help you save money.

If you are the kind of person who doesn't trust in kiddie hosts (well, about 80% hosting is done by 15-17 y.o. kids), take your own reseller package from us right now, because:

It will cost you nothing. All new customers, who order Reseller Package, will start paying just in years 2006. The faster you are, the more you save. And if you won't be 100% happy, you may migrate to another host at any time.
Great discounts. Once billing cycle will start, you will pay only $10 per month.
Free reseller package. Any person, who will order two reseller accounts, will get 3rd reseller account free of charge. Save even more or just resell it at your own price and make a great profit.
No limits. You may order as many accounts with discount as you wish. We don't limit your freedom.

All hosting packages include:

Free setup
Unlimited features
Unlimited hosted domains
cPanel + Fantastico DeLuxe + RVSkin
Shell access
Affiliate program (50% commissions for each signup)
30 day money back guarantee
99.9% uptime guarantee
24/7 helpdesk/phone support
NO hidden or additional fees

Other bonus features along with more details DimeReseller hosting packages are listed at Hosting page. Package may be upgraded/downgraded at any time.

If your current hosting is running cPanel, we will transfer your accounts (files, databases, email accounts, etc.) to our servers without any cost, so migration will be fast and worry-free.

Still not enough, right? If your current host offers a great price, but you are not 100% happy about support and uptime, send us the link with information about your current hosting package (don't forget to include the price you are paying now) and we will offer the same package for lower price along with premium-level servers and tech support . No tricks, no hiddens terms.

We would like to make this package even more serviceable to you, so please reply with any questions you may have.

Re: If you could change the world...

Actually, the same issue is here, in Lithuania.

It was the main reason why I started hosting my sites in USA based servers lots of times ago and when I thought it's not enough, I started web hosting company.

Re: If you could change the world...

panigrc, aren't you kidding about that?

It's absolutely nosense. For example, our clients pay $30 per year for package with 500 MB space, 5 GB bandwidth and Unlimited Features (email accounts, databases, etc.).

Wow, they are overselling by 500% aproximately :)

Such a package should cost at least $30 and even if the price would be about $30, they would make NO profit. Not hard to calculate,m that even if you have a dedicated server and don't plan to make any profit, it's still impossible to have such a package at this price...

Downloads Module Without Permissions

Good day,

Could anyone recommend me any download module WITHOUT permissions for each file? I'd like this module to act like a "normal" module, "News" for example, wehere you grant access to this module itself and you don't need to grant access for each article submitted.

I tried wf-downloads and pd-downloads, both of them have then same problem - if access is allowed for ALL groups, you still need to allow access for each file yet, what is silly. For example, one my website has over 15.000 downloads, so permissions page even doesn't work due to overload. I'm making another download directory which will contain over 100.000 files, that's why I need another module.

Re: WF-Downloads category problem

JMorris,

I know it's not a problem with XOOPS, it's a problem with module. The first thing I did - posted question in WF forums. There were more people with same problem, but we didn't get any answer from developers

Re: WF-Downloads category problem

Jeeep, you are genius.

While developers didn't provide any working solution to fix this problem, your tip really worked. You saved a lot of time for me.

Thank you!

Insert today's date

I know this question may sound silly, but I really need an answer to this one :)

How could I insert today's date into XOOPS module templates? For example, I need to insert date into WF-Downloads module. So I modified the right file and in the place (where I want date to appear) added:

<?php echo date("l"); ?>

But nothing happens (template was updated, of course), it doesn't display today's date. Any ideas are very welcome

MySQL Syntaxt Error

Hello,

My server is running MySQL 4.0.15. I backed up my XOOPS database and now when I need to restore it, I get an error about wrong MySQL syntax. The error is somewhere here (it's a quote from backup query):

........................
........................

KEY join (instanceid,visible,weight)
TYPE=MyISAM;

So error is displayed and other tables are not restored too. Do you have any ideas how should I change this syntax or fix a problem in any other way?

I searched Google for 2 hours and found nothing useful
