Actually, the same issue is here, in Lithuania.

It's absolutely nosense. For example, our clients pay $30 per year for package with 500 MB space, 5 GB bandwidth and Unlimited Features (email accounts, databases, etc.).

Such a package should cost at least $30 and even if the price would be about $30, they would make NO profit. Not hard to calculate,m that even if you have a dedicated server and don't plan to make any profit, it's still impossible to have such a package at this price...

Could anyone recommend me any download module WITHOUT permissions for each file? I'd like this module to act like a "normal" module, "News" for example, wehere you grant access to this module itself and you don't need to grant access for each article submitted.

I tried wf-downloads and pd-downloads, both of them have then same problem - if access is allowed for ALL groups, you still need to allow access for each file yet, what is silly. For example, one my website has over 15.000 downloads, so permissions page even doesn't work due to overload. I'm making another download directory which will contain over 100.000 files, that's why I need another module.

I know it's not a problem with XOOPS, it's a problem with module. The first thing I did - posted question in WF forums. There were more people with same problem, but we didn't get any answer from developers

I know this question may sound silly, but I really need an answer to this one :)

How could I insert today's date into XOOPS module templates? For example, I need to insert date into WF-Downloads module. So I modified the right file and in the place (where I want date to appear) added:

<?php echo date("l"); ?>

But nothing happens (template was updated, of course), it doesn't display today's date. Any ideas are very welcome

Hello,

My server is running MySQL 4.0.15. I backed up my XOOPS database and now when I need to restore it, I get an error about wrong MySQL syntax. The error is somewhere here (it's a quote from backup query):



So error is displayed and other tables are not restored too. Do you have any ideas how should I change this syntax or fix a problem in any other way?

I searched Google for 2 hours and found nothing useful
