It is possible that you did nothing wrong. I had to give up on CBB at version 3.08. I am now using Newbbex.

It is fairly easy to do using PageWrap.

If you want to see it in action go tohttp://helpxoops.info... register and login. Once you login click on "Latest details" below the active Forum postings list (Main page).

Hi kris_fr,

We'd be happy to stress test the theme onhttp://helpxoops.info if you want.

Are you able to take those menus and place them independently in custom blocks also??? If so, wonderful!

Hi Bender,

Actually my code is based on a derivative from css play. However, his stuff didn't work with Opera 9. So I got something from: How-to-create and hacked it apart and reassembled it...

Anyway to make a long story longer... I guess I'm not too worried about IE 6 at least not enough so that I'd load anymore MS stuff on my PC. I am assuming --probably wrongly-- that most people will take the route to IE 7, since it's free. And... IE 7 adheres to more standards than the earlier IEs did.

[Insert joke about 900 pound gorillas here]

Thanks for the pointer though.

Bottom line is I am happy to give the code to anyone skilled enough and equipped to fix it!

Now you're into some real fun.

Try changing your theme to the default, see if things get better then. If they do then invision board is messing with something on the screen display and causing various components to get shifted, misaligned, made ugly or whatever.

If you are not totally hung up on using invision board there are others that work well with xoops. If you want to see some you can go tohttp://helpxoops.info. You can checkout newbbex (the one we use there...) also we have demos of Vanilla and smf. Use the Active Projects link to find things.

Have fun.

check mainfile.php

Also clear your cache and templates_c directories if that doesn't seem to be the problem area. Lastly you can check redirect in your control panel to see if that's the problem.

After these it gets difficult...

Thank you blueteen.

I'm not quite certain what I will do with that problem... since I can't test it. I guess I'll note the problem and leave it to someone else to solve.

Sure enough you have a problem...

I registered and am now unable to log in. Looks like you have a sessions problem or perhaps are doing something with a Firewall or cookies.

Try emptying public_html/cache folder; empty your public_html/templates_c folder too. That may help.
