All of those errors are related to AgendaX and XP-Weather. Deactivate those modules and see what happens.

I know you can adjust the order of the categories, but I think the topics are in the order they were created. One way to alphabetize them may be to recreate them in the order you want, then delete the old ones. Of course, you lose posts this way. You might be able to transfer the old posts to the new forums with an SQL UPDATE command of some sort.

It would be very nice if we could assign a weight to the forum topics, not just the categories.

Relax!

You're not the only one having this problem. A quick search turns up several such threads.

The common solution is to go to Admin Menu > System > Preferences > General and set the Default Comment Display Mode to Flat. That should do it.

How to customize "New user registration" e-mail

As an admin, I get a "New user registration" e-mail every time a new user registers, which says, "User123 has just registered at [sitename]."

I'd like a little more information. For example:

Quote:
A new user has registered at [sitename]!

User: User123
E-mail: user123@email.net
IP: 123.45.67.8

An e-mail like that would be wonderful! But if IP isn't possible, I'd at least like the e-mail address they used to register.

Is there an easy way to add this functionality?

Great! With a little help from Google translation, it worked perfectly and is now installed on my server. Pretty neat!

Thanks!

I'm a little confused about the PHP-Stats website. There's an English portion of the website, and it says that php-stats is available for download in English, but there's no link to download it. And what about the actual program? There is an English version, isn't there?

Could somebody point a newbie in the right direction?

Go to the Blocks administration and click "Edit" for the C-Jay Content block. Rather than setting it to appear in the C-Jay Content module, set it to appear in "Top." That way, it will only appear at the top page, and no others.

You're trying to edit the default template set. Clone that one first, then edit the new copy.

Hmm... I just downloaded the Japanese version, and it's certainly much better than the French as far as translations go. The included English files are very good.

However, when I try to add an advertisement after navigating to a category, I still can't get it to validate it. I get a page that looks like this:

Quote:
Quote:
_CLA_ADDANNONCE
If the page does not automatically reload, please click here

Notice [PHP]: Constant _cla_cat2 already defined in file modules/myAds/language/english/main.php line 73
Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: cid in file modules/myAds/addannonces.php line 274
Notice [PHP]: Use of undefined constant _CLA_ADDANNONCE - assumed '_CLA_ADDANNONCE' in file modules/myAds/addannonces.php line 26

The undefined 'cid' seems like it would mess up ad validation, since the first thing it checks is the cid. Any way to fix this?

That might work, but it's generally a bad idea to edit files in the templates_c directory. Look around in Administration > System > Templates and see if it's possible to edit the template there instead. You may have to clone your default template set first.
