I´ve thought about that to, but I really want to have this function in the XOOPS - of course if it´s possible. We already have an XOOPS running, for testing, and everybody is very pleased with this solution. But maybe I have to setup an file server...

Maybe DMS will work, but I´m not sure... I have tried the module and can I set the priviliges so that only I can see my files and "user X" only can see his files? I´m not sure about that.

What I want to do with this function is to setup an XOOPS as and intranet for all teachers in my local community, where they can upload/download their personal files as documents, pictures etc.

BTW I´m very grateful for helping me!

Thanks for the tips/help, but it doesn´t solve my problem. I want the possibility for each user to have their own private area in my Xoops. A area were they can upload their own private files and were no one other then their self can see, upload and download the files.

If this module doesn´t exist wouldnt it be a great module to develop

Hello

I´m just wandering, after searching the community without finding anything, if there is a module that let me and other users save private files? I want my XOOPS to have the possibility to save private files (documents, mp3 etc.), which only I can read and download.

Thanx in advance!

Take care

Sorry for my mistakes, I know I sometimes can be a bit eager

But my question is a general question about the wysiwyg editor. Is it possible to deactivate it? In some modules the editor is not necessary (in my opinion) and only "takes place". For me it´s more important to have a clean and nice interface/design.

I´m writing for the third time and this time I hope that there´s a kind person out there who can help me. My problem is that I want to get rid of the wysiwyg editor in, for an exampel, the phpbb forum. Is this possible and how do I do it?

Thanks
Richard

Hi!

I´m moving my XOOPS and when I try to import the sql-file into my new server/mySql it "times out". The problem is that the file is to big (35000 rows). My question to all you helpful people is, how do I split a sql file/table into two or more files?

/R

Hi again!

Is it possible to hide/disable the wysiwyg-editor, for an example, in Nargas Guestbook, or? I want the design/look to be more clean and simple, I don´t need the editor in all the modules.

Best regards
Richard

I chosed Export and when i tried to import them back into the database I just got a error message (something like "It´s not an sql query"). Can someone help me? I know this topic been up before but I couldnt find it anywhere.

Have a nice day
