So I have set my start page to 'none' and have customized a 'Top Page' to say what I want to say.
However, I wanted this page to show up before the user has signed in. It is showing up after the user signs in. It seems there are two different "index" pages? One is unsecured and the other is secured?
Any help is appreciated.

I was able to edit my "Top Page" nicely.
However, my "Top Page" is the "home page" my users see once they sign in. How do I edit the home page when a user has not yet signed in? It is still blank..

Regarding my home page - when I go to System Admin/Preferences and I tell it which module to use as my home page - I don't have "home page" as an option.. it is my Guestbook, Forums or "none".
Am I missing a module? Or if I want to customize the home page do I select "none" ? Thanks again.

I'm a newbie tasked with taking over a XOOPS site that a previous administrator created (no longer with the company).
Everything seems to be working fine, but I'm needing some new functionality.
I've got XOOPS Version 2.0.15 running and I'm EXTREMELY SCARED to upgrade it - my biggest concern is disabling some functioning Forumulaire forms - but I've also got a guestbook and some forums running.
I need to be able to edit my currently blank home page and I need to add a secured page where I can list about 10 PDF files.
Please advise?! Thanks so much.

Wow.. I've been spinning my head for days on this. I'm taking over a XOOPS site and the original creator is no long with the company. I simply need to secure about 10 PDF files in XOOPS and just can't get there - PLEZ HELP!!
One post told me to download WF-Channel V2.02 and WF-Resource v1.03 - that was a lot of work only to end with a dead end error message telling me I needed a newer version of WF-Resource when I had installed the most recent copy. Another suggestion was to install Pico - which I did but couldn't figure out how to use it...I kept getting blank pages when I clicked through the user interface...

I would like to try WF-Channel.. but all of the download links I have found are broken due to a down server. Can you recommend another download area?
beeblebrox - thanks for your time as well. I was able to safely uninstall some stuff I didn't want. Unfortunately, I couldn't make my way around the Pico tool and kind of gave up.

I've got two questions:
1.) How do I safely uninstall modules that are installed on my server? I downloaded several items from the repository that I don't like - such as myalbum-p, wf-downloads and a few more.
2.) All I want to do is have a page of links to PDF files.. nothing complicated.. Can you recommend anything?

I've been playing with it for two days and can't seem to get this to work.. I'm wondering if there is a pitfall where I could easily do something incorrect..?
