I recently installed xoopschat on my website. My question is that when some members want to exit the chat they don't click on "leave chat" button that's why you can still see them in the chat room but they're not really there.

I looked at the settings but couldn't find anything abt this. IF someone knows how I can change the settings I'd appreciate it. Or if you know a better chat program...

thank you for your answer. I updated the module a few weeks ago, also I updated to XOOPS 2.0.17. After I updated I thought this problem was gonna go away and yesterday I thought to myself "I think it's ok, noone's complained abt it" and boom, today I check the website and many complaints... I guess you should never say something is going good, karma hears you :)

Maybe it's best to update to cbb3.08 like you said.

Now; I read the link you sent. The error message we get is not the same as Charlieb's, do you still think it can be solved that way?

error message (this is written on the member's post, instead of the member's original message): you must be a member to view this message, if you are not a member please become a member

Some members on my website complained about viewing some messages. I searched the problem here and then on the internet but just can't find any answers.

Even as the admin I faced the same problem.

When I view all the messages on one page (after I log in), I can't see one of the member's message instead it says "you have to become a member to view this message"

People who complained about this are already member. Since it happened to me and I'm the admin I can't think of any reason. I checked the permissions but nothing seems to be changed.

can you pls help?

Hi,

I installed xcgal and it works good but with just one (and the most important) problem.

I'm able to add picutes via FTP but when I go to gallery on my website and try to add any picture I can't see it.

It doesn't give any error message, just the opposite; it confirms the upload process. the picture size is 320x286 which is smaller than allowed size.

And yes; users can have albums and users are allowed to add pictures and chmod is 777. What else?

It gives error messages on both sites when I try to download. I also found other websites for XOOPS Turkish language. One of them offered to help, I'll try them.

Thanks for all your help.

I downloaded XOOPS from 1and1 click and build but it didn't give me any language option, just english. I'm not a genius (obviously) and don't know how to install XOOPS in another language .

Pls tell me how to do it otherwise I'll trash my computer.

I asked it to oficial XOOPS website in Turkey but didn't get any answer yet.

Can you help a XOOPS dummy like me?
