Regarding clearing the cache, check if you have set Module wide cache for publisher module in the preferences -> system options -> General settings.

it will also be a good idea to use the jquery from the google servers rather then including it in xoops as the jquery from google would almost surely be cached in the visitors browser

Since module compatibility is a problem with almost every xoops upgrade and its obviously very difficult for any single person to keep on checking all modules with a every xoops version, is there a possibility to have a wiki page for each xoops version.
The wiki page will then have two links on it, one that leads to a page with list for compatible modules and another that leads to a list of incompatible modules.
Both the pages with compatible and incompatible list should be allowed to be edited by registered members, so that as we upgrade our sites to a newer xoops version, we automatically test the existing modules on our site and simply update the list on the wiki pages.

I have a website running on xoops 2.5 and the following modules are working without any problems
1. Defacer 1
2. mytabs 2.2
3. mymenus 1.1
4. simpli wiki 1.1
5. publisher (the latest trunk)
6. tadgallery 1.3
7. xforms 1.2
8. X-Aggregator 2.25
9. Tell a Friend 1.05
piCal .93 (Everything works except date selection via calender which is not working while adding/editing an event)
Kindly add other modules that you have tested with xoops 2.5 so that we can have a list for others as well.

I guess the purpose was to give module developers a central place to store all their images. The only module that I have seen use the system image manager is publisher module.

Site Updated. Changes Made include:
1. New theme
2. Added anthing slider to blog (publisher clone) to display latest articles
3. Using mymenus module for the horizontal menu
4. Added footer to share with facebook, tweet, linkedin and Google Buzz

Are you using revision 225 for publisher.
I am asking this because rating function for the clone was working for me as well till I was using a older version.
Now that I am upgrading my site with some more features I thought of upgrading both instances of publisher modules as well. Its after the update to the latest revision (225) that I am facing this problem.
