They're talking about the same issue (and have a solution).

You have multiple options...

Debug the zencart stuff and the blank page... which is fun, but might be time consuming.
Also, hopefully, you have a development server you can try stuff on (like turning debug modus on)

The other option is to use XosC .73 Beta
(which was announced on the frontpage)
https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3933

I'll help with the debugging, as others might help too...

Excellent work! Keep it up and I'm confident more ppl will be helping out at XOOPSAddons to improve the XOOPS Project!

Actually, posting it here will be great.
everything below
Error: Database Access Error: Please report this error to the PDSection Website please

explanation
Right now you are posting : An error has occurred, please report it

What we need is:
The following error has occurred bla bladieblaaa, bla bla
please report the error.

For us, the interpreters, the error bla bladieblaaa, bla bla is perfect, because we can probably tell what's wrong.

Is it XOOPS 2.0.16 that's going live?
Some digging in the source code is needed, that's why i need to know the version

Could you check the file system to see if the system module is present?
Maybe rights problem?
Is xoops_version.php present in that directory?

Bring your shovel, we can dig together

What was the category name that you created?

Does it say anything more below the line:

Error: Database Access Error: Please report this error to the PDSection Website

Did you try and find the PDSection Website?

*bump*
This is your typical Ajax Drag and Drop Blocks model.
dd2xdefault is exactly what I need, however I hope that the theme remembers the positions of the blocks after a refresh or something.

Actually, we should combine the excellent
http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?ajaxedxoops
work with the work that wanikoo did.

That way you would have an ajaxed XOOPS theme which remembers the block positions (if dd2xdefault does that, I will check that out)

But to make it easier, I have found _NOPERM in almost every module with two instances each. This includes the News 1.54 module.

That's exactly where you need to search. Search for the _NOPERM thingies in your News 1.54 files.

I still don't have a local copy of XOOPS 2.2.5 yet, so I can't help you there. Maybe you can post the sections where you've found the _NOPERM thingies?

Just 5 lines up and 5 lines down is ok for now :)

Firstly, quickly remove your complete path from the post

as in change to:

WARNING: File /home/***********/mainfile.php is writeable by the server.
Or something like that.

Secondly, I don't know if it works, but how about setting the mainfile.php readonly on your PC before you upload?

Otherwise someone else needs to help you
