Preferably it should just be one text-field for the adress, otherwise it should be "Swedish format" :) street, five digit post-code and city. The most important feature is not the adress, but the phone and e-mail-listings. Preferably viewed from the first screen. ie:

Name phone mobile e-mail
Klas Nilsson 018-248372 070-839734 me@work.com

User info and mail module?

I've started a company-website for our employees and I'm on a search for a module in the style of "my pages". I'd like the users to be able to view user info (with form fields that I choose, like "Name", "Departement") and also be able to e-mail the user via the XOOPS mail or regular mail. Can anyone please point me in the direction of such a module?

Hi,

I've recently upped a XOOPS-site for my company, but is missing a simple phone/e-mail-list that the staff can use to find company numbers. Tried a few of the existing directory-modules, but none were really suited for this purpose. Prefarably it should be a database column sheet with name, phone, mobile and e-mail so that it is easily accesible.

I'm not handy enough yet to put one together so I was wondering if anyone had an existing module in mind or was working on one?

My XOOPS system is set to Swedish as language, after installing the swedish language pack, and everything has converted to Swedish - except for the notification options (se example below) and the day and month (still shows as 'thursday' and 'may' instead of 'torsdag' and 'maj'). Can anyone help me?

Example of notification (some in swedish, rest in english)

Actually I've tried uploading the files in the folder and accessing it through www.mydomain.com/htdocs, I've also tried uploadin the files directly under my domain and also to my root folder in ftp (meaning that my server has a root with two folders, one for the webfiles (www.domain.com) and one for an attached forum (forum.domain.com).

Nothing works. Ane clues?

HTTP 403 problem after uploading XOOPS

A total beginner with a not so new problem, as I've seen browsing forums. As with other people I upload XOOPS htdocs-folder to my hosted server (at www.surftown.com), and when I try to open my site I only get a http 403 problem saying I have to "log in" to be able to get to this folder/file.

Other people have posted the same problem but the answers given to the either doesn't work or doesn't make sense to me. Does anyone know if it can have something to do with the writability in my folders, that php safe is on (I'm guessing it is) or something else I can try. Or in the worst case scenario... Can anyone direct me to another free CMS that is equal, or almost equal, to XOOPS?

Grateful for any input into the matter!

/Klas
