I now have this problem. I am assuming you are talking about /class/xoopsform/formselectuser.php

but where is the edit user form that you replace it with? The one in root? Do you just rename and overwrite it or what?

Is there a module that does this?

If I have a client list with information in a MICROSOFT EXCEL sheet (name, address, email, etc.) is there a module that would let a user upload this file, and store it so that the user could log in and see the client info and have the ability to edit it? Just checking to see if there is a basic module with the framework already done or if I'm going to have to go from scratch on that part.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I was able to get it working with your help and a little from my host company.

The only thing I haven't been able to fix now is that instead of showing bullets for <ul> and <ol> it shows • instead of the bullet. Like this

• MYRON COPE---R.I.P
• NFL Combine Top Performers
• WVU can warm to this schedule
(Charleston Gazette)

Recently my host disabled my XOOPS website domain b/c it used up too many cpu resources b/c of the traffic. I then purchased a dedicated server. I set up a new account on this dedicated server I set up the nameservers and then uploaded all of my XOOPS files, and through cpanel i uploaded the database. I then corrected mainfile.php so that it had the correct file path now.

Here is my problem. I can load the index.php now but it does not use the CSS from my theme and also every single link i click on now gives me 403 errors like this:

Forbidden
You don
't have permission to access /modules/weblog/archive.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

If I log in and try to get to admin.php it lets me after clicking the "first time you have logged in" but then after that nothing is there, no module pictures down the left side or anything. Just 'home' and 'logout' no other options.

Can someone please help me with this?

I checked my folder permissions all are 755 from what I see.

I like what you are doing so far. It looks a lot better and easier for users to use. Keep up the good work.

Well the version I have (polls 1.0) does not have that option under preferences, I tried to find a new version but the site is no longer open. What is the latest version and do you know where I can download it? thanks.

I've been trying to figure out how to allow people to vote more than once, I've been running into problems with people who live in dorms or whatever using the same network and getting the "already voted" message. I have been looking at the code trying to figure out how to change the time frame for votes.

Anyone have an idea as to how to change it to where you can vote more than 1 time per day?

You could make a new css file for the cbb and then edit the cbb templates to externally load the css file that you want for the message board.
