Yes I'm there, but I couldn't find the drop down thing that was there in older version. Now I see the shoutbox is there among the others.. Sorry for this post, it may be deleted. It all is as it should be now :P.

Thank you for the fast reply.

How do I add module blocks to the site? I am used to an older version of XOOPS, and with that there was a drop down field where I could choose the blocks in the blocks admin section. Now I use XOOPS 2.0.14 and can't find that drop down field. I want to add a shoutbox block and other blocks there already made.

I know this is a stupid question, but I can't work it out myself. I first tried to search your site for help, but I couldn't find any. I guess I'm the only one who don't know how.

Many thanks on forehand for your answers.

Ah thank you Chris03 ! I don't mind the wait, now I have that atleast . It will save me a lot of work with editing too much if someone leaves and others comes. I have just tried it out, and I really like it. I might write some suggestions down later. Now I only have one, to be able to turn on and off showing their signatures. But it's cool like it is.

Daigoro the pricelist is not for a shop, just to show value of stuff, which can be edited by a group only. Thank you gestroud I will now try the pricelist module (Just found it in the Modules Repository). If it's not what I'm looking for, then I'm trying Daigoro's suggestions.

Thank you all for great help, now I'm moving on. I hope I can get back to you if needed. You're great !

Thank you Daigoro I guess I have to try that then, but as long as it works .

Chris03 Will the work continue some time, or is that project permanently shut down?

Daigoro and others.. is there also a solution for the pricelist thing with the features I descriped?

Thank you all for the answers .

Chris03 - How is it going with the module? And how do I find it when it's done?

codyheit - Yes, I think others might have use of it also.

About the Pricelist, I found a module called "Pricelist" but is does it do what I discriped? I guess I have to try it out.

I need those two modules to run my site with a XOOPS system.

I really apreciate any replies.

Thank you !

Yes, some of the groups should not be displayed, only the staff like admin, moderators and so on. If it can be made that admin choose which group to display, then that would be the best.

Would it be hard to make that they have a picture only for the Staff list? I mean instead of the avatar. One they can upload themselves and replace with a new one when they want to. The avatar will be just fine though.

Staff list
Details:
A page where the groups are shown with their avatar. Like this: On each staff member there will be shown his Avatar, below the avatar the name will show, under the name what group he/she is in. When you click one of the staff members, the profile will show. The admin will be first then he/she can choose which to be next.

Pricelist
Details:
A page with small pictures of something. The page must have a pictures with a textfields beneath with details and value of the thing on every shown picture. And all that should be edited only by a special group. They shall be able to add and edit items plus their values. An easy way to upload the pictures would be great too. It would be really great, if there was a way to show if the value have raised og lost value by an up or down arrow. If not changed, then a red square og something. You should also be able to see the old value in grey beneath the new one. When you click on it a pop-up window will appear with a new and larger picture of the item plus details in text.

If it doesn't exist, is it hard to make these?
They would make me be able to use XOOPS in future.
What do you think about these requests?
Thank you on forehand for your replies !

I would like to know, is there a value list module for XOOPS?

If it doesn't exist, is it hard to make one? Just do remember: I am no expert at this.

Thank you on forehand for your replies !

Thank you carnuke, I'll try CBB final out.

I agree with Dave. I used phpBB and loved it but want one my Xoop users can use. And it's also important for me it's in my XOOPS design. I know I'll miss the hacks and mods for phpBB.

Hey,

I'm thinking of having a forum on my XOOPS 2.2.3 and would like to know which one of all those there's available is best. If you don't mind, also why it's the best.

It would be great if it have hacks like the phpBB forum where you can buy stuff for coins you've earned by posting.
I don't believe there's a forum like that for XOOPS but it isn't important.

It has to be easy to use, and have a mod group who can delete posts and move them.

Thank you on forehand,
Gollum
