Hello,
this morning I have installed Xoops2.0. Everything went fine.

Now I have tested ver. 2.2.3

When I install it I get a load of error messages like this:

Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in /home/lacco/public_html/portal22/install/class/textsanitizer.php on line 96

Later when the ver 2.2.3 is installed then there is always the error:

Notice [PHP]: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file include/common.php line 223
Notice [PHP]: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file kernel/object.php line 819
Notice [PHP]: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file kernel/object.php line 819
Notice [PHP]: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file kernel/blockinstance.php line 169
Notice [PHP]: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file kernel/block.php line 179

I think this latest version is still a bit difficult to use.

How to avoid all those errors??????

Thats OK, as long as I know from a specialist, that I have not missed one option for that.

Another question:

The forum lets you upload an image and post it.

Is there any module or plugin which allows to attach e.g ZIP files in the forum?

Hello,
so far so good,
now everything is cloned and working fine.
Thanks for the great help.

One more question:
The css file, is there an option to change that, too?

Thanks,
that thread helped. :)

I have already modified some files by hand, because I didnt know how that worked. I have downloaded the respective files and then edited them in Notepad.

Now I have to think how to integrate my existing IPB.
have fun :)

When I go to the Blocks Admin....Edit a Block....and there push "Edit Template"
Then I see the code for that template and change it, but thats all.
I can View it but I cant Save it.

So, If I have a Template, e.g. the system_block_online.html
How to save the changes?????

hi,
I have just installed XOOPS and the first impression is GREAT.
I dont know which version it is, I guess its version 2

Now I have only one problem:
How can I integrate my Invision Powerboard?
And my Medical plants page
And my character sets page?

To implement the modules coming with the portal is easy, but how about own stuff?
