Are you using the latest module athttp://www.peak.ne.jp/xoops/ ? I'm using a point version or 3 back from current on 2.2.2, but the one I originally got from the main XOOPS site download was older and had issues with Blocks and Groups (i.e. not working at all). The developer (GiJoe) has resolved a lot of those issues.

Has anyone worked to get Dictionary (currently 0.91) working with Xoops 2.2 and PHP5?

After forcing the table build to type=MyISAM, I got the module to load. However, it just sits there when you go to add new dictionary entries.

I'd love to get this working or find something equivalent. I'm stuck with PHP5 on my webhost, so that's my limitation. It looks like most of the structure would work, but needs to be updated.

If anyone has done it or would be willing to help me, I'd be happy to do the actual work... I just don't know what has changed - so I'm not sure what to look for.

Thanks!

Xmmemberstats working on XOOPS 2.2

I see that up and running. I wonder if PHP5 has something to do wit it. Any idea how to get in touch with those guys? I don't want to register if it's an alumni site and their contact info seems broken or limited to registered users. I'd love to get their hacks.

I've been following this thread in xoopsmalaysia:

I would also post on the XOOPS malasia site. This nice mod works on my 2.0.13 site, but no luck on my 2.2.3 site.

Ah... that's what I was beginning to realize.

I already have some posts on XoopsMalaysia's site for this, but my guess is they'll just say it's not supported yet.

Thanks for confirming your results. Maybe I'll have to wait for their 2.1RC

I'm running XOOPS 2.2.2, PHP5, and MySQL 4.1. The block for XM-Memberstats 2.0c works great out of the box, but eventually disappears and reappears.

I haven't figured out if there is any timing involved or user session. It was working, I navigated the site (some admin, some regular site) and when I return to the homepage the block is gone. Even when I logout, it's still gone. I came back this evening and it's back after I reload the homepage (which didn't help earlier).

Clearing cache doesn't do anything.

Any ideas?

Also, the install page for the flags doesn't work for me. And the user menu item is busted (looks like it's pulling columns from the table 'users' which have been moved to user_profiles, so it looks like this isn't ready for 2.2.2 at least, but maybe it's a PHP thing.

Anyone else seeing this? Turning off debug PHP options in administration works to limit this. Does anyone know how to mitigate the problem?

Okay, I'm having some trouble SMD.

I installed version 2.0c directly from xoopsmalaysia. At first it works (there are no module preferences - just the block.

I added the block and get down to where it shows the users online, etc.

Now it is completely gone... nothing shows up despite uninstalling and reinstalling twice. I can't get this module to show now (deleted it, edited it, etc.)

It's a nice module and I'd love to be using it. It looked cool while it lasted.

I'm using PHP5, MySQL 4.1, and XOOPS 2.2.2.

Also, when I tried to install the flags, it was a no-go. I clicked the button to do so, and it does nothing. I do, however, have an iptoc table, it's just empty.

Also, if you use the member directory from the user menu, it says

Unknown column 'url' in 'field list'

I never upgraded, except from 2.2 to 2.2.1 and then to 2.2.2. I was under the impression that there wasn't much to this.

After digging, I used the same update SQL tactic to fix my ID. I was the only one affected. All else, like setting permissions, etc. seem to be working. I have no idea if this was like this from the beginning, but I seem to remember a PM link on my profile and in the dropdown in forums. Strange that the PM_LINK field should be empty for me.

At any rate, it was a fairly simple fix. Thanks for pointing me in that direction.
