Turn on site without password?

I turned my site off sometime ago for some updates and cannot remember the password to turn the site back on. I am curious if there is a file I can edit to turn the site back on? any help is appriciated! thanks

any ideas? Google has not indexed any of my forum pages - but the site has been around for over 6 months and the forum has a PR4..thanks

Note: it is XOOPS 2.0.10 with newBB2.0

This may belong more in the begginers corner but I am running xoops2.0 with NewBB 2.0 version 2.01..I am curious if the extentions it gives is something SE's will crawl/index/and possibly hit the SERPS...This is what a post would look like:

http://www.domain.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=431&forum=2

Is there any module to download that would cut the length or maybe make it a .html or something? Thanks in advance!

Can anyone tell me what the Hp, MP, and EXP in the newbb2 forums stand for?

Im assuming exp is experience?? the other 2 i have no idea..

Hello all. I have edited the system block main menu to try and add another link that has a sub menu when clicked..the code looks like this

<a class="menuMain" href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/newbb/dada.html">Main Link</a>
<a class="menuSub" href="<{$xoops_url}>/sub1.html">Sub 1</a>
<a class="menuSub" href="<{$xoops_url}>/sub2.html">Sub 2</a>

however, once i update my system module the links all show up..how can i change this code so sub1 and sub2 only show up once "Main Link" is clicked..I tried setting Main Link to point to "menuSub" but that didnt seem to work..

Also, is there a way to organize my navigation bar so I can have my custom pages towards the top..mixed in with the regular download/installed modules?

Question about newbb2 msg board

hello everyone..im currently using XOOPS and installed the newbb2 message board on there. However, I noticed in each individual forum there is an option on the bottom that lets you sort the posts by "post time" "Accending or decending" and "from x amount of days"...The default is set to "last 100 days" but the option lets you go back "from 1 year"..how can i set this to goto "from 1 year" by default when the page loads..ive looked through all the settings and couldnt find anything except in the code itself..any ideas? thanks in advance!

*sigh*...im not sure which version im using..let me see here..it looks like I am using newbb ver.1..how can I update this? and can I move old posts over?
