check here. I have no idea why. I have set the permission to allow anonymous users to read the news, but it says there that anonymous users don't have the permission. Why?

Hi,

I encountered this problem here where anonymous users could not read the news articles even after I have set the group permission. How do I fix this?

oh well... I just noticed this thread. I'm a Malaysian too. Just converted my site from phpnuke to xoops. It's running great now. Check it out... www.intowesee.net

About the XOOPS site that you guys plan, I can join you, but I cannot guarantee you that I'll be available all the time coz I'm still studying. But somehow I can help on the projects if you want. Tell me what I should do ok?

I had my phpnuke site converted to xoops, but I only managed to transfer the users info (I have around 1400 users). It would be nice if I could transfer all the news that I had to xoops...

Does anybody knows how to implement this? If not, I'm afraid I won't be able to launch my NEW xoopsed site on July 1st. I just migrated from PHP-Nuke. And I really hoped that someone could help me with this.

Hi,

I've been looking for the solution to these, but I had no success. I have a portal running xoops, and a forums running phpbb. Right now, I would like to grab the latest forums post and put it in a XOOPS custom block in my frontpage. Can anyone help me with this? FYI, I have my XOOPS & phpbb running in a different database.

I've been trying this for hours now, but nothing seems to work. I've searched through this site, but I couldn't get it to work. Hopefully someone could help me out there.

That's sweet... I was looking for standalong xcGal without the multilingual functionalities. I'm just curious, is the latest version of xcGal 1.1RC?
