I moved each file fro m the other html folder and template foled over one at and time to the root

ok neither one of the files had the top part you just mention so I added them to it.Should i now go back and re change thouse lines that I take away teh xoops2.09

mainfile.php (this is the one I edit)
In the mainfile.dist.php theres nothing like that it starts off looking lik this

Ok I just empty the template_c folder into the root to and now the page showes from all that funny scripting stuff to blanke!
