Looking for a Module Gallery without ImageMagic,NetPBM,GD2,GD

hi!

I am working in my localhost and I am looking for a gallery module where I can upload pics from my hardisc..
I dont have a webhost with gd or image magick support.so that´s why..
Maybe someone can recommend me a host with pre installed gd or image magick library because my hosting do not provide it..

Jegelstaff,you have right in what you are saying.I think the permission should be done in the modules.
Other thing is the modules like news are too complicated.
I do not understand what is "prune" for or CSV export..
I just want to write news nothing else..
I like a simple version of XOOPS like subdreamer.org.. for people who wants to create a simple portal with uncomplicated modules.

Maybe the new XOOPS can offer an installation depending about what you gonna do with your site`?
For example:

New installation support with pre-installed modules and then you can check which modules can be seen with registered users and which not..

I managed to install other poll named XOOPS blind, I just want to read some flash tutorials how to customise a exempel site like this for example:

How to create a portal with different blocks and how to customise them.
A flash tutorial about tiny content..am I asking too much?

Hi Fellows!

I am very dissapointed with the XOOPS new version,it has been more complicated than ever,before the old version was much easier to configurate a module..
I recently installed the survey modxoops2_mod_survey_v0.6_mithrandir

and it's not working, I got this message in the front page:
No Forms Are Active

Dunno what 2 do?

Why has to be so complicated?
is there any personal XOOPS version with pre installed;poll,forum,chat and news- for people who wants to create a personal site..

Anyone who can give some tips to start a new portal in XOOPS in about 1 hour?

hi!

I´ve installed XOOPS the modules altern8 news and I wonder how can I show the news module in the main menu?
The new version seems more easy to customise,I only have some trouble about the blocks and their customisation..

is there any tutorial updated for the new XOOPS version?

sorry! I understand why didn´t work, it was the extended Profiles which it wasn´t installed!

hi!

I wonder why the register link is not working,I get this error message:
Selected module does not exist!
I´ve installed the new XOOPS version and it´s weird..

Any tips how to fix this?
