The unpopulated field happens for both registered and unregistered users.

Where do I start looking as to what the problem is? Doesn't the home page and subsequent pages use the same file to get the populate the "Last Post" field?

This post fixed my problem. After updating the module, the times showed up.

Thanks Predator!

I am seeing that on my home page the "Last Post" field is not being populated. When I go to the Forum (modules/newbbex) I do get the "Last Post" field populated.

The unpopulated field happens for both registered and unregistered users.

Where do I start looking as to what the problem is? Doesn't the home page and subsequent pages use the same file to get the populate the "Last Post" field?

Thanks
eric

I've changed it to "No cache". I'll have some of the users test this.

I have asked several users, and they get the "Contact" form with their correct respective information.

Where can I find out what the cache means in this reference?

Thanks for the help monty and JD!

Hi again Bimmer,

Hi JD! (After I saw your first response, and noticing what forum it was posted to, I thought the question would be better posted to the appropriate forum.)

Quote:

Is that your information that you see in the contact form, or someone elses. When I enter the contact page my information is filled in because it reads my cookie.

Now if it is another persons information that you see I agree there is a problem, but I do not know what it could be.

The information contained in the contact fields is someone that last logged in (on the old site, from phpnuke) "2004-11-12 15:51:01".

BTW if you log off the site and enter the contact page, you should see blank forms.

This is the reaction I see.

So, now I have more interesting information. I logged in as Admin and then looked at some settings, looked at the contact form (it was correct), then I logged out. I logged back in as my own userid, and went to the contact form, it pre-filled with the Admin information.

So, going back to the cookie theory, does that mean that the cookie is not being deleted after a logout/timeout? (My timeout is set for one hour.)

If so, this is even more confusing. How can two users (not including myself, from testing the other day) see that the form was pre-filled with a different user's information?

Also, someone asked about getting information for the website in question. Since it is a gay Adult site, I will private you the information if you would like the site info.

Thanks
eric

Has anyone else had a problem with the Contact module inputting info from a different user all the time?

I have tested this on my site, and the same user always populates the name and email boxes, etc. I can't for the life of me figure out why.

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks
eric

Here is a script that i wrote, based on the PostNuke to XOOPS conversion template. It's made to convert users, forums, news, downloads, weblinks, private messages, and groups.

NOTE: This script converts NSN Groups (from NukeScripts), I never used the PHP-Nuke built-in Group system that was introduced around 7.x. If you want to convert a non-NSN Groups table, you'll have to alter the script yourself.

This script was written with PHP-Nuke 6.8 + NSN-Groups as the site being converted to Xoops, so it is not guaranteed to work for your setup.

PHP-NUKE_TO_XOOPS CONVERTER

For me, I am using nuke 6.5, and the conversion script is returning errors. The errors:
- Update Regdate failed!
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /srv/www/htdocs/php_to_xoops_convert.php on line 118

To me, this means that the conversions cript isn't able to insert the nuke dates into the XOOPS regdate column. Most likely this is because the nuke regdate is varchar(20) whereas the XOOPS regdate is int(10).

Anyone know how to get around this?

Thanks
eric

PS I didn't modify the script line wise, otherwise, I used my username and password.
