Put this in your block, and select a content type to be: HTML

<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.yoursite.org/yourpage.html"><img alt=""
src="http://www.yoursite.org/yourpicture.gif"
style="border: 0px solid ;"></a>

You'll get a centered picture (centered in block), and when you click on it, you'll go to url you've put in your code.

Otherwise, if you want just to show picture, without link, type this:

<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="" src="http://www.yoursite.org/yourpicture.gif"
style="border: 0px solid ;"></a>

Does anybody knows about something like this?

If there's not any, could someone make for us (lazy users) one?

Custom bloks not working, theme's not updating

After a major crush of our site, we've managed to make it "work" but there are few problems, custom blocks are working in preview, but not embedded in page? Theme's not updating even if this option is turned on in admin settings.

Any suggestions?

2 teibaz: thx for the info, what's the difference between newbbex and newbb?

2 tedsmith: thx for the link!

2 davidl2: thx, I've allready applied, but my MySQL & php are somewhat equal to zero :(, but I'm a pro in design. If I do infiltate in to your group, I'll cry everyday for some neccesary things, and make you improve cbb!

2 Peekay: thx a lot, this is what I wanted to hear, the real differences, and this one is a great improvement over the newbb!!!

Thanks to everyone who replied!

Hi,

I wish to know is there any real difference? Does the CBB allows cuting of the thread, and making of a new thread out of the cuted part etc...

For admin, what are improvements?

Yes, I was planning to write this, but I was too excited to write...

O.K. Once again the blame is on us administrators :(

We didn't know the structure of XOOPS database, so when we checked our backup, we found that it has everything, and it did had everything, it even had users in it, but in fact, users that we've searched were in messages, not in the xoops_users :(

So finaly, our backup made by cpanel missed xoops_users, I don't know how is this possible, but that's the situation :(

We've checked our old backups (2-3 per month) and found that only the backup from April or earlier has xoops_users in it :(

So now we have all messages back, but the user base is much smaller :(

We pay about 20-30 euros per month for cpanel/whm licence, it should prevent this kind of things, but in fact, if we've used stupid MySQL backup, none of this would happen :(

This just proves that people who don't know about MySQL or php, shouldn't use any cms, not just xoops. Plain html is great thing for us stupid bastards...

I'm sorry that I've put you all to read this, but I was in real panic, sorry that I've wasted you time, and thank you all once again!!!
