Hi,

I wish to know is there any real difference? Does the CBB allows cuting of the thread, and making of a new thread out of the cuted part etc...

For admin, what are improvements?

<IMHO>
No... I hate all forum - they are suxx, but CBB have not so great improvements over NewBB2 (but still visible), and they all are in the NewBB mainstream.</IMHO>

@piroman. CBB gives your users most of the fundemental features offered by boards such as phpBB and IPB.

For example, a 'View new posts since last visit' option means there's no need to miss important posts as they scroll off the 'recent posts' block. Plus, if you are trying to direct someone to another forum post, you can copy and paste a direct link to it.

NewBB seems very stable, but it is missing these useful features.

I would choose CBB, or the IPB mod from bbpixel.com. Both are well supported here at Xoops.org.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.

2 teibaz: thx for the info, what's the difference between newbbex and newbb?

2 tedsmith: thx for the link!

2 davidl2: thx, I've allready applied, but my MySQL & php are somewhat equal to zero :(, but I'm a pro in design. If I do infiltate in to your group, I'll cry everyday for some neccesary things, and make you improve cbb!

2 Peekay: thx a lot, this is what I wanted to hear, the real differences, and this one is a great improvement over the newbb!!!

Thanks to everyone who replied!
