blank screens for several modules

Yes, I have debug turned on in XOOPS preferences, but I'm not getting anything but blank screens when I click the links for

Tiny Content and Free Content

Installed, deleted reinstalled. No change.

Is there some additional CHMOD that needs to be done somewhere, or does this indicate a different problem?

Thanks,

Is there a script that allows the logins of another application based on a MySQL database to synchronize registration and logins?

I want my XOOPS users to only come from the people who have registered from the other application, and I don't want them to have to login to two systems.

Is there a sort of generic script for this that I could modify according to the table and field names of the other system?

Please check one:

___ no

At least I'll know whether to continue searching.

Thanks!

Well, I figured out the problem for me. I've got Apache 1.3.31

Although the readme says this works for people NOT usint Apache 1.3, the fix actually worked for me. Maybe it was a translation thing. Anyway, so far, so good.

===========================================
From Readme translation:

Delimiter
Usually you do not have to change this parameter。By default it is: index.php/

For users other than: Apache 1.3
If the “PATH_INFO” can not be acquired automatically
change it to "?", then “index.php?” will become the filename.

this sounds like is has great promise.

I can't get it to work, however.

If I am not logged in, I get the "Sorry you don't have permission to access this area" message, which I assume is a good thing.

However, when I am logged in and click the menu choice for Auth, I get the "Selected Module does not exist!" message.

I've done the faq thing, uninstalled it, deleted the folder, re-uploaded the folder, and reinstalled to no avail. Read the "read me" translation here, and there doesn't seem to be anything to do since I'm not adding any other folders.

Not quite sure what this means in the readme translation:

"The root folder for the files can be placed in:
XOOPS/module/auth/index.php/index.html"

Anyone else encountered this, and more importantly fixed it?

Thanks

I've chosen XOOPS for website, as I like the user community, and of course, XOOPS itself.

I want to wrap an existing program in Xoops. I have added links to various screens of the program in xoops, but every time it opens a new window, and leaves XOOPS behind, and opens in its own window.

Can you either point me to a pre-existing wrapper that will allow this program to appear within xoops?

Also is there a way to transfer the registration and login from XOOPS to this existing program?

Both of these are such obvious XOOPS enhancements, I'm sure both of them exist somewhere. I just can find them.
