System menu won't drop down

I just installed XOOPS 2.2.3a and the following modules:

KShop
News
WF-Links
OS Commerce

The problem is, everytime I click the System button in the left menu, the WFLinks menu drops down instead of the System.

I had this problem before, but it was different module that was dropping down. I deleted everything and started over, but that didn't help.

I can't get to blocks, modules, or any other system menu item. Whats' going on, and how do I fix it?

Thanks,
X

Display external scripts withing Xoops framework?

Hello-

I have a couple of scripts that I'd like to display (and run) displayed from withing the XOOPS frame work. I've tried to do this with several modules, but I can't find one that will do this.

For example, I have an external hosting and domain provisioning script that I would like to display within the XOOPS header/menu layout. What module would allow me to do this?

Thanks

yeah, I pretty much botched that question.

Let me try again.

I already have a lot files and folders in my site, and XOOPS will add many more. I want to keep the XOOPS files together, in a XOOPS folder. However, I want the index.php file from XOOPS to be outside the XOOPS folder, and in public_html. Preferably without redirects. Is there a way to accomplish this somehow?

I tried just changing the paths in index.php, but get this error:

XOOPS path check: Script is not inside XOOPS_ROOT_PATH and cannot run.

Thanks

Hello-

I'd like to install XOOPS with everything except home.php being in its own folder. What do I need to edit to allow this?

I'm sure this is explained somewhere on this site, but I can't find it.

I would like to display a php script from another website into the XOOPS framework.

Basically it would be like a frame, since I would not be able to move the entire script into XOOPS as the scripts like CJ, TinyContent, AuthE, etc. require.

Probably this just would take a couple of lines of code someplace.

Anyone know how to accomplish this?

Thanks

Hello-

I've been happily using pi-cal for about a month now, with no problems.

Then today I cannot add or change events. I get the "Sorry you don't have access to this area" message.

I was able to add/edit events before I went to bed last night, and I can't do anything this morning. I don't sleep-walk, so I didn't do it in my sleep.

I double-checked the module, group, and user settings this morning, and everything look fine. Just for fun, I removed the permissions and re-added them but that made no difference.

Any ideas as to what happened and/or how to fix this?

Thanks!

Wow I found it.

I never would have guessed that's what that little Add box is for. I was selecting text and then clicking the appropriate icon like other programs.

The wysiwyg editor does not work for me in the news module. Is another module required, or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Actually, I can't change any words in this very post, either.

Thanks

Hey thanks for the info.

The reason I thought it could be a problem is the xhelp is not letting registered users log a ticket. One of the xhelp developers checked my my installation of his module, and found no problems with the install, and I even deleted and reinstalled xhelp 71 three times but the problem continues.

He says I'm the only one reporting the problem, which leads me to believe there is something wrong with my XOOPS installation, and I was hoping that that undefined index error was pointing to the problem.

From your replies, it sounds like this is not the case.
