Agree with you, some CMS display the karma but I wont change my XOOPS with that missing feature and hopes that this will be added on someday.

Yep, it is good to have an auto housekeeping with members that aren't active. My site is also flooded with members who logins everyday, check my video clips and leave but never post any.

Am I missing something here?

Why are you going on about karma??

WTF???

Sometime I need to post a message that is only intended for active members, say a karma of 20 will only allow users with karma level of 20 or more; it is hard because I don't know who has a karma of that level.

You would go into cbb preferences. There is an option that says "HP/MP/EXP Level Mode" you would need to set this to either graphic or text... be warned graphic does not work well with all themes. But when it does it is well worth it.

Just noticed that no value from HP/MP/EXP/Level are related with karma.

Thanks. I have that enabled. One more question, looking at the sample below; is the level value equal to Karma?

Level : 15; EXP : 54
HP : 0 / 363
MP : 92 / 1940

I wanted to show the users karma level but don't know how. Tried to search xoops.org but found nothing related, and CBB website looks like it is down.

What we see now from the posters in the forum is like this:

Is it possible to show it with karma, like this?

Looks like you wanted to open it in the same window... You can do it with short HTML code like below, target must be equal to _self. Make sure that you put a check mark on HTML under banner admin when adding this banner.

<a href="http://www.yoursite.com/targetpage.php" TARGET="_self">
<
img border="0" alt="The Alt text title here"
title="The title of target page"
src="http://www.yoursite.com/url_to_your.gif"/></a>

Hope this help.

Not sure if somebody need this feature, I have posted a commnent here (quoted text below) but it seems that posting it in the forum is the right place.

Currently only blog module has a feature to post via email, I am not sure if somebody love to have a feature to submit a news via email and on the administration side we can update a list of allowed email addresses/members who can submit a news via email.

I am currently usinghttp://www.flexwindow.com but it overwrites your old post and don't show the authors name and most important is users cannot comment.
