Well it seems I've narrowed the problem to the new comment_post.php. It seems this line of code:

$extra_params .= isset($HTTP_GET_VARS[$extra_param]) ? $extra_param.'='.$HTTP_GET_VARS[$extra_param].'&' $extra_param.'=&';

which is added twice in the update for 2.0.3 replacing these line:

$extra_params .= isset(${$extra_param}) ? $extra_param.'='.${$extra_param}.'&' $extra_param.'=&';

For now I've just reverted back to the old comment_post.php since it seems these lines are just to add register globals = off functionality, so it shouldn't hurt anything reverting back to the old file, I hope. Regardless, if somebody with more PHP experience could look into this and find out why this is messing gallery up it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm experiencing this problem...after upgrading to 2.0.3 the link in Recent Comment block was bad having albumName and id blank. I used the session patch by SirTanksAlot but it didn't fix the URL problem so now when a comment is made on a photo I just ERROR: requested index [] out of bound [39] and the URL is still wrong. Need immediate assistance with this please.

We are currently in the process of making a list of all the existing bugs in these two releases so we can eliminate them in the next RC of Xoops. So if you think you have found a bug in the core coding, the downloads module, the links module, the xoopspolls module, the banners module, the xoopsfaq module, the memberlist module, and any of the blocks relating to those please report them to me via PM or email (xoops@destrux.com). Or you can just post a reply here but I'd rather you send the reply directly to me. Remember that we just want the bugs for the previously listed things, nothing else.

When you send me your report please tell me what exactly happened, your servers php version #, your servers MySQL version #, and your servers OS. We appreciate your cooperation and participation as we try to make XOOPS a better product .

densma - you can find that code in language/english/global.php. Or change english to whatever language pack you are using as default. The code you are looking for is this

define("_NOPERM","Sorry, you don't have the permission to access this area.");

In your case you just need to go to your admin control panel and then system and groups. There you will see your access rights. Adjust access of the forum for your anonymous group.

That should be a relatively good fix there....the icon and function call idea. It would be quite simple in fact and offer a good amount of protection.

Yep, I'm getting alot of that same stuff :(. It tends to get annoying rather fast. To be honest though I never thought about any link of it to XOOPS websites. Seems like maybe somebody is doing some heavy scanning.
