I've found some recently huge strange comments on my sites : a registrered users (a spammer) was able to post many comments on a unknown module from my XOOPS site (on download module, that was not installed at all). How is it possible ? Anyone ever experienced this too?
i had to delete those through system admin (modules/system/admin.php?fct=comments)

1/ the news are displayed for few days with their content on the front page. So now the main page is very long, as it was before with the old theme. Please set the front page as it was few days ago, to reduce scroll down the minimum, only titles are necessary IMHO. Perhaps a slide effect could be used to hide/display the news content (like on frxoops.org) on a click basis.

ok, done, thx

Those can be addressed too, and it will save space on the front page !

2/ the latest "Recent Posts" block is useless, the content is already in the "Xoops Support Forums" block. to save space, it can be deactivated.
3/ the right blocks (support, forums, etc.): most of them are useless, please deactivate them to save space. Who's Online and User Menu are the only one usefull.

and what about this one?

4/ forums : a cleanup in the number of forums could be done, it would ease the way to find informations and to know where to post.

yep, delete the htaccess. our modules are shipped with url rewriting capabilities. since it's not (yet) managed by core, it's embedded into our solutions through htaccess files.

The ThAdmin module resembles the most to the 2.2.x admin interface. Module preferences are OK, but block permissions and extended placements need still to be implemented in XOOPS 2.3.x.
Hopefuly 2.4.x will make it happen, togheter with the login name (until that 2.2.6 rules ).
