Hi All,

I want to convert a Satellite forum sitehttp://www.satnerds.com to Xoops. It is now powered by: vBulletin Version 2.3.2.

Which setup, hacks and modules can you recommend me?

I was thinking about:
- Latest XOOPS (2.0.7)
- Auto Login Hack For XOOPS 2.0.7
- Flash and reals button for 2.0.7
- Internet Explorer 5.X CSS Hack For XOOPS 2
- Mail Users hack/fix
- AntiDos Attack
- Counter (statistic) to see the site and users profile
- Article Management System
- FAQ Management System
- News Management System
- Download Management System
- Forum module (admin chapter & part not viewable for common users)
- Good working Search engine (for all modules)
- Shoutbox
- Guestbook
- Polls
- Multimenu
- Chat

Can I convert the allready excisting "vBulletin Version 2.3.2 database" to the "Xoops database" for users, PM, forum-postings etc, etc..?

Maybe there is allready someone who is running a configuration like this who can help me?

Which theme do you guys prefer for a forum site?

Thanks allready, hope you can point me in the right direction of give a little help!

PS. I did allready realise a XOOPS site regarding the Dreambox satellite receiverhttp://dreambox.sjerom.com, but dont know what to use for this forum site with the latest possibility's...

Hi hsalazar,

using your beatiful module on my site, but I have only one option maybe you can add!

Is it possible to order the colums and articles, like in the FAQ module?

Via this way it is easier to setup the articles and colums the way you want what is best for your site...

I was thinking about "automaticly by date" or "manual" like in FAQ...

Thank you...

Greetings, Hemertje

Is it possible to use the searchengine together with a management module like icontect or ws-sections or...?

Because I want to use the searchengine for every page on my site!

Which manager can I use best for this applications?

Thank you, Hemertje
