<div="whatever">
<
table  border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
<
tr>
<
td width="whatever" height="whatever">
<
img src="Image#1" >

td>
<
td width="100%" height="whatever">
<
img src="Image#2" >
</
td>
<
td width="whatever" height="whatever">
<
img src="Image#3" >
</
td>
</
td>
</
tr>
</
table>
</
div>

or maybe put images in the td bg:

<div="whatever">
<
table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%" height="23" >
<
tr>
<
td background="Image#1" width="16" height="23">

td background="Image#2" width="100%" height="23" >
<
td background="Image#3" width="26" height="23">
</
td>
</
tr>
</
table>
</
div>

or

<div="whatever">
<
table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%" height="23" >
<
tr>
<
td background="<{$xoops_imageurl}>images/Image#1" width="16" height="23">
<
td background="<{$xoops_imageurl}>images/Image#2"width="100%" height="23" >
<
td background="<{$xoops_imageurl}>images/Image#3" width="26" height="23">
</
td>
</
tr>
</
table>
</
div>

or maybe something like

<div="whatever">

<
img src="Image#1" width="whatever">
<
div align="center"><img src="Image#2" width="100%"></div>
<
div align="right"><img src="Image#3" width="whatever"></div>

uhh, bump

Ok, been a while since last post here. Had alot happen, a fire and a couple hurricanes.

Here is what i have, it not a full template driven module, but it works.

It works from the Ebay Editor Kit so you must obey thier rules, like no ebay pages in a frame....yadda yadda.

It is a small addon to display your Ebay Auctions in your XOOPS Site.

Currently you must edit the modules/ourauctions/index.php manually.
Go tohttp://affiliates.ebay.com/tools/editor-kit/ , click "get Editor Kit" and customize your script. Copy the the script and paste in the modules/ourauctions/index.php.

This comes with one Block that you must manually edit to display your Auctions (modules/ourauctions/blocks/ourauctions.php) .

Upload to modules folder and activate.

You do not have to be an affiliate with Be Free or Comission Junction to use the module. When making your script above just put 'not an affiliate' in the provider box.

View module in usehttp://archangelartifacts.com/modules/ourauctions/
View the block @http://archangelartifacts.com .

When you are making your script, you CAN place whatever kind of search results you want.

A Free No Registration Download athttp://archangelartifacts.com.

Coming soon to a XOOPS Site near you.

Hello,
Go to Admin, then preferences, General settings.
Scroll down to:
Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?
click yes.
It should update, if not delete all temporary internet files.
The only code needed to change what you want:
<!-- Start user menu bar-->
    <{if
$xoops_isuser}>
    <
a href="<{$xoops_url}>/user.php"

Hello <img style="vertical-align: bottom;" src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>images/face.gif" />
      <{
$xoops_uname}></a> &nbsp;|&nbsp;
      <
a href="<{$xoops_url}>/user.php">YourAccount</a> &nbsp;|&nbsp;
      <
a href="<{$xoops_url}>/notifications.php">Notifications</a> &nbsp;|&nbsp;

openwin (msg)
function

w.focus();
w.document.open();
w.document.write("<html><head></head><meta http-equiv='content-type' content='text/html; charset=<{$xoops_charset}>' /><title>You have new p-Msg</title><body><br><br><center>");
w.document.write(message);
w.document.write("<br /><br /><a href="javascript:window.opener.location='<{$xoops_url}>/viewpmsg.php';window.close();">");
w.document.write("View</a>");
w.document.write("</center></body></html>");
w.document.close();
}
// -->
</script>
<{/if}>
      <
class="highlight" href="<{$xoops_url}>/viewpmsg.php">

a href="<{$xoops_url}>/user.php">Log-in</a>&nbsp;|&nbsp;

a href="<{$xoops_url}>/register.php">Register now!</a
      <{/if}>
     </
td>
     <!--
End user menu bar -->

I am also working on a modification of this theme.
Go to archangelartifacts.com and on the right is the change theme box, click arch_artday-style.

I should have most of it done today, project for the day. . Heck after suriving a fire and two hurricanes this year, this is a nice change of pace.

Nice work on your modification.

Hello,
I have had about 40 downloads of the beta archtheme control panel, but have not recieved any comments or suggestions.

I am updating some small things,like lang files and some bigger things like the "admin public announcements" (sorta like the announcements in phpnuke). I am also making admin to have features to show links and/or messages, or not. I may get rid of the messages sytem, but would really like to hear from people using variuos browsers to confirm that messages script works, I think I will implement them in another module I am working on.

Anyways anyone that has looked at beta please leave comments/suggestions, tell me it has possisbilities, its trash or tell me to F Off.

The ArchTheme Control Panel is ready for download and testing. You can add up to five links and three messages to your theme through the admin. Currently there are three themes with the download: ArchSilver Theme, CPphpkaox Theme and CPx2t Theme.
ArchSilver shows links and messages as does CPphpkaox, though I will have to work on messages fading color which is configurable through the script located in the theme.html or eliminate for something else.
The messages script is supposed to be cross browser compatible. CPx2t does not show messages but uses the links with the tabOn/taboff class.

This is an early release for testing and suggestions. You will be able to use this Theme control panel for any and all themes just by adding some code in your theme.html.

There has to be an easier way to call the DB through the theme.html, any help with that would be greatly appreciated.
This is a ported phpnuke module from mtechnik.net.

You can view converted themes here:http://archthemes.archangelartifacts.com/

Download Module here:http://archangelartifacts.com/

As Always: NO REG REQUIRED FOR DOWNLOAD

I have the admin side of ArchTheme Control panel 100% finished.
Is there a better way to call Db through Theme.html than this:

Quote:

<{php}>
global $xoopsDB;
$result = $xoopsDB->query("SELECT msg1 FROM ".$xoopsDB->prefix("archthemecp")." ");
list($msg1) = $xoopsDB->fetchRow($result);
echo $msg1;
<{/php}>

I am going to procede and convert the default themes to use this Control panel and release later today.

Each theme.html has to call the info from the database. This can be used in any and all XOOPS themes. (just add some code.)

How would you call the DB directly through the theme.html?

addition:::
And have it work with any javascript within the theme.html.

I did it. I did it.

I figured it out.
twas real simple.

Brief background:
I wanted to make a Theme Control Panel based on Mtechnik (phpnuke) Theme control panel.

It lets you add up to 5 links and 3 messages through an admin area. The messages are a cross browser supported script. All displayed in theme.
I was having much trouble getting the theme.html to call the DB. The admin module side was no problem.
After weeks, nay, over a month of being stumped at not only this project but several others, it hit me like a ton o bricks. BRACKETS. Stupid little brackets. XOOPS needs them, XOOPS loves them, XOOPS is the Best.

<{php}><{/php}>

Example of calling db through theme.html

Quote:

<{php}>
global $xoopsDB;
$result = $xoopsDB->query("SELECT msg1 FROM ".$xoopsDB->prefix("archthemecp")." ");
list($msg1) = $xoopsDB->fetchRow($result);
echo $msg1;
<{/php}>

Is there a more compact way of writing this?

I am 90% finished with the ArchTheme Control Panel for XOOPS and will release version 1.0 this weekend.
I am modifying the default themes that come with XOOPS to utilize the theme control panel and they will be packaged with module. I will make a block to also display links.

You can see a working example at:
http://archangelartifacts.com

The messages and links below the logo are being drawn from the DB and are changed through the admin module.

I have put off finishing several themes til I figured this out. All future themes from AAINC will utilize this Control panel.

Be on the lookout for the ArchTheme Control Panel.
Coming to a Downloads section near you.

ToDo:
Public Broadcast Message (sorta like phpnuke has) for admin to send a message to group specific.

TOP SECRET IDEA based on ancient chinese secret.

STUPID BRACKETS!!!!!

Hello,
This driving me crazy and I know it is probably simple.
I need a coffee break, bad.
Lets say I create a module with MySQL DB that I can update through admin.

Example of DB table:

Quote:

CREATE TABLE xoops_test (
name varchar(209) NOT NULL default ''
) TYPE=MyISAM;

How do I get the "name" field to display inside my theme.html???

Man I feel dumb.
