2.051 info (bug?)

I've installed XOOPS over 2 different server and 7 different website and updated it with the new version actualy 5 work with 2.05 and 2 with 2.051 (update from 2.05).... Last night I've DL the full version of 2.051 and I've make an new installation all without problem but when I go in "module" for change the order of listing in menu I give the "send" after is needed an 2° confirm but with the 2° ok it try to save the file admin.php over my pc then I abort the DL and the operation of update the list is ok.

Is it an know bug or what?

Help - MyADS Problem,,, (or bug?) - 1000 mail send

Under XOOPS 2.05 I've installed MyADS module and all have work well for 30 days after the surprise!!!

I've configured for expire ads at 30 days after this date the ads expire and the registred user owner of the ads receive an email of advice (Your ads is expired...etc...) THE PROBLEM IS: Is not only 1 email but the system send 500 email or more for user!!!! AAARRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!

I've reinstalled all and the problem exist. Some ideas? Or someone can help me?

MyADS 2.0
Server Linux RH9.0

Resume function is necessary only if the DL. is interrupted!

.... yes I use it normaly, I've try again with normal DL. and say is corrupted... in the next time I'll try with an 3° pc with S.O. Linux, last attempt was doing with 1 pc with win98 and another one with win xp...

we will see...

I've download it from this url:

But when I've try to extract the file it say is corrupted...

I've try 2 different time the download but there is this error of extraction... Someone was more lucky of me?

Know bug use the file install_tpl.php of the version 2.04.

I see nice and good w.s. . YES the idea is this similar at your site realy is correct that of you say about the theme... we change the theme an that do all of we want but XOOPS is an cms then is good have all configurable from the admin

2.05 little request...

little request or good idea?

in the 2.05 version of XOOPS there is the possibility of put the block in the central area and not only in right or left and is veri great because there is right-center | center | left-center VERY USEFULL but all this is ONLY in top side of the page why there isn't the possibility of select the position top of page or semi-footer position? Or best of best is the possibility of use the number of position for the body of the page then with this sistem is possible setup the sequence.

example:

position 1: 3-block
center-left|center|center-right

position 2: 1-block
center

position 3: 1-body

position 4: 2-block
left-center|right-center

yes.. and after in line 80... I've see when I0ve try to make an new install of 2.05.

I've take the install_tpl.php of my old 2.04 and have used and all is gone ok!

See my latest message in forum "..minor bug.." in bug area.

I think the best way is use phpmyadmin...
step A
1) Install it...
2) select the db of your XOOPS portal
3) click over export
4) select all table
5) then select "save with name"
6) save the file .SQL created

step B
save all the file of your old XOOPS (but realy is important only the mainfile)

ok now you have your portal in safe into of your Hd.

for restore it reinstall XOOPS and make restore with phpmyadmin... (click over SQL) then select the file from your hd and it will give to you all your old portal in new server.
