Greetings - XOOPS 2.0.9.2, PHP5

The module installs fine. Clicking on the admin panel gives the following errors in debug with nothing happening.

Greetings - XOOPS 2.0.9.2, PHP5

I unziped the into my modules directory and when I go to the admin modules area I get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare WfsArticle::$groupid in D:\apache2triad\htdocs\modules\wfsection\class\wfsarticle.php on line 89

The module does not even show up in the to be installed list. Also, once this error is encountered other modules that should show up on the list do not.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks In Advance.

Image Manager Requests

Greetings -

After reading the Image Manager requests I would like to add a couple.

1) I would be nice to have a bulk upload feature. Just create your category, sub-category, point to a directory and upload all the images defaulting the image name to the file name. Obviously, you would have to go back and set up a name for each picture uploaded. This solves the time comsuming problem loading every image one at a time.

2) For each Image manager category, sub-category have a default directory were the images are located that can be overriden by the individual image entry. This will solve the time comsuming problem of having to change every single picture if you reorganize your images or move your website to another directory location.

3) A way to move image database entries between categories, sub-categories would be very usefull. Also a way to copy image database entries to another category, sub-category. This will solve the time comsuming problem of having to double load images that fall into several categories, sub-categories.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Greetings - Thank you for the response.

I looked at what you stated 'notifications.php' only includes 'mainfile.php'.

So based on my previous experience with the 'booklist' module causing a blank page for notifications I decided to reinstall the site in a different directory.

I installed the Web Links module.

I created an additional registered user and set up notifications for Web Links for the administrator and my registered user.

End result after a bit of testing is that notifications and comments are working properly on the new site.

The only thing that I can conclude is that one of the installed modules is destroying my ability to post comments. So I will proceed carefully when rebuilding the site and test to make sure that the comments and notifications still work after each 3rd party module install.

A couple of good things came out of this. I understand the debug options a bit more, and I will be more carefull about the integrity of the modules that I install.

It seems that some of the more popular modules have not be run under debug by their respective authors to see if they have any undefined constants and/or warnings.

Live and learn.

And once again, thank you to all that responded to this thread. Your assistance was greatly appreciated.

Greetings - Thank you for your response.

My apologies, I do not understand what you meant by upload. What exactly do I need to do?

Do I need to re-install part of xoops?

Thanks In Advance.

Greetings - XOOPS 2.0.9.2

I am still not getting any comment section.

Turning on debug provides the following:

Warning [PHP]: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in file D:\apache2triad\htdocs\include\notification_functions.php line 330

when I press the "comment" on a "Web Links" item.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Greetings - Found the cause.

Fatal error: Call to a member function getVar() on a non-object in D:\apache2triad\htdocs\modules\booklists\include\notification.inc.php on line 37

The booklist module is what was causing the "blank page".

Disabling notifications did not help.

Deactivating the module did not help.

Uninstalling the module gave me back my "notifications" web page.

Hope This Helps someone else.
