I would like to do this with any of the modules that have the submit function. LOL - a couple of the websites I am running do not want submissions from the public in certain categories.

Is there a possibility of allowing this item to be turned off and on at will? That would be nice.

However, what I wanted to say was that with the news feature, I solved this problem by not showing the news button in the navigation and then making my home page the news page. You can see what I did here.

Hope this helps!

I thought it was at SourceForge, but I couldn't find it. I know it's not on the XOOPS site.

Question about calendar modules

Do any of the calendar modules allow only the webmaster to post the activities to the calendar? I'm working on a church site with XOOPS and the calendar will be updated by the church staff, but not the registered church "members". We don't even want to allow that option.

I've been trying piCal, but can't seem to get it to work the way I want. Any suggestions??

Articles with Page Breaks

I've been searching the forums and modules section for an answer to this question, but haven't found one yet.

Do any of the articles modules have page breaks? I am working on two sites that will have rather long articles and I wondered if there was a way to break the pages so they're not so long.

Thanks for any help!!

Problem with sig lines in newbb

For some reason, in my newbb module, when a person creates a sig line, there are some periods (....) added to the end of the sig line. If there is a URL posted at the end of the sig line, then this creates an error when the URL is clicked on. Does anyone have any idea why this occurs? I have gone in and modified the sig lines of a couple of my users and they're still there. Here's an example:

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for this fix. I like my partner block to be 125x125. Can someone tell me how to make them center in the block? I tried
and
- but it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Xoops is the best!!

Great Module! One quick question. Am I right in assuming that only members of the site can sign up for the newsletter? Or can outside people who are not members sign up? Thanks!
