Module downlaod listed here:
https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=21&lid=1135

I suggest you go over to the dev site also:
http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?dms

We need some devs/programmers to do the coding and by extension we can test and make recommendations.

This mod would really be a strenght for Xoops, similar to other great Xoops mods, especially for intranets.

I tried about a year ago. I think it needs some re-factoring code and feature/process wise. I would be good to see this mod updated or also herehttp://www.orangehrm.com/ is another script that could be adopted similar to the last release wordpress mod.

"let's hope someone eventually picks up on this module and develops it further"
It would be great to see someone or a group pick up this module for development. I am willing to provide guidance/suggestions and testing as I have worked closely with people who do records management.
This is a mod that intranets need in order to share files efficiently. What do you all think?
let me know.

I have installed the new piCal-0.93 seems to work ok but when adding an event when click on the date popup calender it shows transparent. I tried fixing but no luck. it only seems to happen in firefox. can anyone help.

Thanks.

I tested rw-banner w while back and seems to provide most of the functionality needed. There was a an issue with one of the blocks. I like its ability to include various types if adds and the blocks can be cloned. It also allows you to include banner anywhere, you can also specify tags.

here is an updated release which I have not tested but suspect would be a starting point.

Would be great to see this module seriously adopted and developed further by the community it does have the potential, instead of re-inventing the wheel.

I using:
Mozilla 3.5.8 - works fanatastic
Internet explorer 6 show embedded at footer of page. I doubt people use it today.

those hosts that don't offer the ability to place folders outside the public folder are not up-to-date. Yes most hosts offer that option. probably its time to tell your host to allow you to do so or its time for you to move on to a new host that provides that flexibility you need.
my 3 cents.
