hello

so i have two problems in the admin area

first i have a problem with my template manager,

we made a copy of the orignal template set so we could edit this files easily, that works very well for a long time but now we have the following problem

Quote:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in e:\Domainserver\power-dreams.com\html\xoops\modules\system\admin\tplsets\main.php on line 93

this error appears when i open the template manager, he began to load and stops at the first modul, but ALL moduls works fine without any problems

and we use the original main.php, so wie never edit this file

my second problem is
we changed our server from a nt based server to a linux based server, and now i cannot install moduls right.

for example here is what XOOPS does when i want to install the "treemenuXL" modul, this is only a example and it happend with other moduls also

Quote:

Installing TreemenuXL

Version: 0.5
Author: .: dAWiLbY :.
based on HTML_TreeMenuXL 2.0.2 by Chip Chapin,http://www.chipchapin.com
(which is based on TreeMenu 1.1.0)

Module data inserted successfully. Module ID: 104
Adding blocks...
Block Hauptmenü added. Block ID: 289
Template block_treemenuxl.html added to the database. (ID: 2406)
Template block_treemenuxl.html compiled.
Setting group rights...
Added admin access right for Group ID 1
Added user access right for Group ID: 1
Added block access right. Block ID: 289 Group ID: 1
Added user access right for Group ID: 2
Added block access right. Block ID: 289 Group ID: 2

Modul TreemenuXL wurde erfolgreich installiert.

Kann nicht im Hauptmenü aufgeführt werden.

Zurück zur Moduladministration

i use the german language pack so this is why its in german , in englisch the message "kann nicht im hauptmenü aufgegührt werden" is called something like this "cannot add to main menu"

so i think i did something wrong with the file settings, the attributes, the permission or how that is called

on the old win nt powered server we dont need to set this file permissions, XOOPS always works great without setting them but on the linux server it seem to be important to set the right permissions

hopefully someone can tell me the right permissions for all XOOPS files. and i hope someone can help me also on my first problem

it would be great

i need it because i have several news categories and sub-categories and this is the only way to realize it.

the main problem is a simple but ugly problem

first i should say it totally clear, the clones works just fine without any problems except for one and that is may problem

we want to let our user know what are the actually news on each news modul, so here i have the "top aticel block"

this block can handle it, okay fine
BUT here is my problem, i get the right news in this block but with the wrong link the link is always the "homenews modul" (a clone of the news module i called it homenews)

i have checked the template files and i have corrected the path rightly, so i think i must chance some variables but when i do that the "top aticel block" do nothing

and here i'am
because i have no clue how to fix that error, and i hope someone could download my two clones and could fix this bug.

that would be really really really really great
