That's where I would use SpreadXOOPS for too: it would contain info about how you would set up a XOOPS site, an up-to-date module list (with only the latest modules that don't have leaks), and things like that... XOOPS needs that!

I don't guess this forum is here for sites running on iCMS, but for XOOPS sites only ;)

Well in this case you should create the mainfile manually, using the mainfile.dist.php file. Edit it, and upload it. Rename it to mainfile.php. Normally, it should work then.

I would recommend Firestats, add the tracking code to a block, and you're done. Should work fine, I guess, without modifying your mainfile.

I think the site is firestats.cc

@flipse: I'll count you in, but I'm still working on the design at this point. The home of the site wouldn't run on XOOPS I think, the rest of the site will :)

The homepage will only contain some news, updates, modules, themes, current version, e.g.

I'm currently working on SpreadXOOPS.com, and I'll let some people on it to test it when i'm happy with it. It'll be fully about XOOPS, how to use it, but in easier terms then the XOOPS site, which is indeed scaring users, as I noticed in a survey I've done with around 50 people that never used XOOPS, but are working with CMSses.

The site will be open for everyone, but I'll need to know what YOU want to do on it, and if you want to help me, or just test it, just let me know :)

Because that way, you can disallow write access for most files that don't need it, and secure your site even more.

I have my own songs, created on my own, and I think you could use Betrayal. It's free to use, not so long, and has a nice beat. :)
