http://crusthaven.org/import_users_v1.1.zip <- I have only TRIED it on 2.0.16. Only imports the basic info.

Friend Requests Caused Blank Screen - Yogurt v3.2 RC1

I submitted a bug report on sourceforge, but it doesn't look like anyone is watching that list of bugs, since none of the reports have any responses since Feb.

So, here it is again:

I logged in today, went to my profile and I had 2 friend requests. I accepted one, and suddenly I had a white screen for my profile main page. I was able to delete the new friend, still no main profile page. Finally, I deleted all data from the database table yogurt_friendpetition

My profile page works again. However, the problem scares me.

Yogurt v3.2 RC1
OS: Linux box333.bluehost.com 2.6.22-19_1.BHsmp #1 SMP Thu May 22 08:08:32 MDT 2008 x86_64
PHP: 5.2.6
MySQL: 5.0.45-community-log

Sounds really simple to me. I can think of several modules that could easily just be cloned and renamed. Or he could just use wordbook and then people could REQUEST codes, too. Yes, I think he just needs to use the module wordbook. You people are RUDE for acting that way to someone who was willing to compensate you for something. PLUS no-one even made a decent suggestion to him. SHAME.

I had the same problem, so I just removed the option to list names and removed that table from the donations page. Now it is simply the text, the radio buttons, and the submit button. 25 minutes later someone donated $25, so I must have done something right.

After you make the change be sure to delete all the files in the templates_c folder and refresh your page. Also make sure the "check templates for modification" feature is turned on in admin/preferences/general settings.

"Check templates for modifications ?

If this option is enabled, modified templates will be automatically recompiled when they are displayed. You must turn this option off on a production site."

In other words change:
<a class="menuTop" href="<{$xoops_url}>/"><{$block.lang_home}></a>


in the file modules/system/templates/blocks/system_block_mainmenu.html

to:

<a class="menuTop" href="http://2nolimit.com/xoops/index.php"><{$block.lang_home}></a>


You can see where I entered the URL. You can change that to whatever URL you want the home button to point to.

Am I stating the obvious? It seems to me, all you really need is a index.htm page in that base directory with a http redirect to the page you want them to be directed to with a zero second delay....

OR just hard-code it by editing modules/system/templates/blocks/system_block_mainmenu.html

Instead of using the XOOPS standard for the home link enter the URL you want the home button to point to.

I hacked yogurt to search the membership module's member list and disabled yogurt's internal search to overcome this problem on one of my sites. It can be done simply by modifying the yogurt template files to include a member search box on every page that uses the membership module's search function, and then by removing the "search member" links from all yogurt pages and the main menu.
