For the new life of XOOPS why don't think about at merchandising?

(and maybe a new XOOPS Foundation like, for eg, Firefox?)

Stefano (aka slyss79 in xoops.org and slyss in xoopsitalia.org). Co-Webmaster of Xoops Italian Support. I am a College student at University in Ferrara where I will graduate in Engineering (specialization in Computer Science) in Fall 2007.
I am already working as a Webmaster and developer of dynamic Web Site (Cms). I take care of the graphic interface, programming and administration of several web sites, using php and java. I specialize in sites of International Web Communities and, since 2005, I manage and develop the Multilanguage Stefano's Network web site. I have published a XOOPS BOOK.

Do you really think that our decision has been taken lightly? As stated in the article, it's now more than 1 full year we are waiting for something... unfortunatly uselessly.

Do you really think that each and every members of the frxoops.com team hasn't made his best to make changes, to contribute or to help with the core development?

We came to the conclusion that we couldn't trust the core development team anymore. We do think we have the responsability to guide our french speaking community (wherever they decide to follow us or not), and expose our points of views. Giving a head on Xoops-Cube sounds to us, actually, the best choice... if we want our project to simply survive.

i understand you at 100%....

I have made an italian book for xoops:

Resized Image

but for the moment i have stopped my english translator because i don't know if an english XOOPS book version is useful...

thanks to phppp for the thread... but my enthusiasm is deaden...

just a little precision... We (frxoops) are not leaving XOOPS but we open our support to XOOPS Cube which is the only true project alive today.
We lose our best members due to the lack of visibility and community spirit. Who can do something here ? Is it one guy right now how having the authority and the skills for giving a new way to the project ?
I know just one guy : Onokazu, the founder XOOPS.
He is the owner of the xoops.org domain and work with the japanese team.

It's just my opinion.

there are many guys for the contributions... but is necessary ONE LEADER... is necessary early!
